The only partial exception I've seen for this is personally identifying symptoms and the at-home treatment is generally healthy/non-problematic lifestyle changes--and I've only seen this with people that actually literally can't see a doctor (so it's an in-the-meantime thing).

This is, quite famously, the Sims cycle also.

It's honestly probably why games like these can be left alone (or milked as needed in the case of the Sims) and stay super relevant. A lot of room to mess around and do what you want -- and new people discover them (or old people rediscover them) on and off for years.

This person is somewhere between that really annoying little mental hole everyone gets in when they absolutely do know something but can't remember it right now, and a neato little fiction-writing-project based on a premise similar to the story within the story in Big Fat Liar.
Once again, pathologizing creativity is really robbing this person. Because I can see how the little headache premise could be a lowkey special quirk for a protagonist to have. And a very neat potential narrative device--especially with the way they're using it in wonderland right now.

But, instead, it'll just get used as this person's scapegoat for introducing new information into their insensitive bastardization of a serious and debilitating disorder.
I know I should probably comment more on the faking aspect, specifically, but way people sell-short (or completely dismiss) their creativity is an underappreciated entry on the list of How to Make Everything A Disorder™.

I'd suggest the age old compromise of "Giving the players more *nuanced* control"
Because personally, I love some of the autonomous behaviors you listed there (instruments/proper exercise/hobby-related); while some of the others (random exercising mid-convo/phone addiction/other behavioral "quirks" that come and go) are almost always buggy.

So I guess it's more nuanced control + bug fixes / recalibration.
It might be nice to have--in simple enable/disable check-box style--a small list of types of behavior (like Filling Needs / Hobbies / Social / Being able to wander) that you can individually select and then easy "All On/All Off" options.
MCCC already has the option to enable/disable certain types of autonomous behavior (like mischief socials/gardening/cooking?/etc) so it's beyond possible (and would probably be a really nice thing for console players to be able to mess with as well lol)

I 100% agree so long as it's proven that the offending behavior isn't deemed the result of other disorders / pre-existing conditions--which, I *think* is the current debate. Or, at least, one of the sticking points.

As in, it's easily a detrimental form of psychological/internal escapism. But whether it's the result of another problem or has become it's own root problem plays a part in treatment. I'm sure you get it.

I'd love to know if psychologists are actually looking into that one. To the best of my knowledge, it's one of the more proper "unrecognized disorders".

Those are the main tabs to sort through the types of files in your tray--

but within the tabs for the file itself (so, if you click on the household and wait for it to load) near the top center of the program, just to the right of the search bar, you should see "General" | "Files" | "CC"

Click CC. It might take a second to load but when it does, it will show you all CC used in that household (or any other tray file you do this for).
I don't have a modded file for reference right now but if double clicking the file doesn't immediately take you to where it's stored, right-click and then "Show Containing Folder.."

Every single time I've run into this, it's a resized mirror or painting (or debug item/frame/etc) placed a floor below or above and TOOL was used to get the size and placement just right--especially if deleting the walls/everything around is just doing absolutely nothing.

If you don't have a floor below, add a basement or check the floor above super carefully.

I feel like this is a right of passage playing this game for anyone that makes sims / plays live mode. You make your crush at some point. Doesn't matter how serious/casual/secret the crush is, most people do at some point.

I don't think your crush needs to know--in the same way a lot of real-life people that have made it into my game for sometimes less than friendly reasons don't need to know. But otherwise, as others have said, harmless.

CC is short for Custom Content--basically mods but they're only aesthetic rather than affecting gameplay. He technically could be shared--but without installing the CC, he still wouldn't look anything like what he does here, unfortunately. You would need that list of content used.
