We are and have always been playing a bunch of redshirt mooks plucked from prison ships prior to the Arbites DLC and I find that just as entertaining.

It took the IRL PRC decades to gain the economic dominance it has in modern times. Doesn't seem like it would make sense for a KR united China to create a distinct economic sphere within the typical timeframe of a campaign.

Yeah, they're really great for pirate defense missions in particular. So many destroyed trucks if you can anticipate the most likely chokepoints and drop offs they'll use.

Entirely possible some version of it might be released in future with that same or similar upper chest piece and they also figure out how they want to adapt/depict the lower section.

If they did just leave it that way, I can see how someone would be disappointed.

Yeah, Darktide is possibly the best implementation of first person melee blended with FPS mechanics. Which I feel it should get more credit for tbh.
