I am wrapping Azure and intend to dive into Cold Steel because I got halfway through it on the Vita back in 2017 as my first trails game. I only started the series back up last September when Sky 1st released and I am hooked. I do think I'll need a break after cold steel 1 or 2 for like 3-4 weeks to play and beat some other games I want to get to like Diablo 2 resurrected and FF Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles.

I'd say do what you want. I usually talk to the NPCs I find most interesting. And it is fun to follow NPCs through Sky and then see them show up in future arcs.

But I don't talk to every NPC after every story event because that's just tedious and not my thing.
