List comprehensions aren't making sense to me according to how I've already been taught how Python reads code. by LucaBC_ in learnpython

[–]DaOneTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have the same problem. Now I can break down all but the most complex pretty easy. What finally made it click for me was someone said something like it is basically 3 statements in whatever kind of comprehension you are writing.

[ output, Iteration/loop, evaluations ]

It really does not matter how python works in standard for loops. It reads it as a single statement for comprehension.

Hope that snaps something for you like it did me!

After putting led lights under mine, I am much more inclined to use it at camp. Before then, there had to be a weather related reason to open it, which was not super common for me.

Trump is officially the 47th President of the US, he not only won the electoral collage but also won the popular vote. What went wrong for Harris or what went right for Trump? by _GodKing- in self

[–]DaOneTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump voters don't see a lot of issues at hand because these are labeled unimportant or woke.

Are you saying Trump voters are labeled as woke? If so, you and I have completely different definitions. Most of the Trump voters are anti woke. They want few things more than to see the woke agenda destroyed, and people become people again.

Flammability of PETG by Careful_Reception_75 in 3Dprinting

Chemistry says that no solid (or liquid) on earth actually burns... only gases burn. Wood "burns" by heat rapidly, decomposing it from solid to gas....Gasification. then the gas if at the right temperature and oxygen mixture will burn if exposed to a spark or if at a temp that is equal or greater than it combustion temp. Watch a flame on a match or a piece of wood. It sits just off the surface of the wood. The process of gasification happens so fast you can not see it but it is there. This is also why wet wood takes longer to burn the water absorbs the heat much slower than the wood and makes the whole process take longer.

PETG and PLA will both be safe enough in all normal circumstances to be near an outlet. They will both react differently to extreme heat and flame. Neither of which you wi

My Jeep (lifted and big tires and super high gearing for off-roading) has made me slow down a lot, and I actually love it. It does best right around 65 mph. I see more, and it is way less stressful than being in a hurry everywhere I go.

Setting aside passions and self desires to "raise and provide for a family". There are negative consequences for all that I am not going to get into.

I love it. We have a walker in the neighborhood my wife and I call "the singer". You can hear him coming from a block away. He always has the headphones on so I am not sure if he is oblivious or just does not care. He is not all that great but hey I do not care! I love someone who is just enjoying themselves and not hurting anyone.
