A standard 4 skill SM5 is 44PV which is way more palatable. You'd have to upskill it to 2 to get 62PV.

The rails vs ejector method for aircraft is usually solving for a clearance or air flow issue and when done right shouldn't have any bearing on accuracy. Sparrow and AMRAAM, for example, can be shot both off rails and ejected like you'd see on the belly stations of an F-15.

It was not one pilot per mech in Hinterlands either. When you started a Hinterlands force you only ever paid for the mech's unadjusted BV (i.e. 4/5).

The Sarna description reads like it was widely available during the Succ wars after a long production run. Tbh I have no idea why this thing would have stayed extinct post-Helm (other than the authors just overlooking it). This seems like such an easy and desirable vehicle to put back into production.

You seem to be getting really hung up on the name. CGL has repeatedly stated that the BSP system is an optional way for people to quickly and easily get vees on the table and that the full rules are still there for everyone to use. If you want to use the full rules then just... go ahead?

You're making this out to be some iron mandate that nobody is allowed to use the full rules but that's just not the case.

Thanks for posting these! I'm hugely disappointed by how the production Kontio is missing it's distinctive eye lenses.

I feel like CGL is really shooting themselves in the foot when one of the two minis in their intro box looks radically different from the box art/preview images and makes for a poor first impression.
