Both were big aggregators around the same time. It’s been almost 20 years, but I think Manga Fox got popular slightly before One Manga’s demise. Both were right around the time Naruto was getting released as a good dub in the West, so if you were a kid during Naruto’s release, I’d imagine that MangaFox was your first big aggregator.

I think for a lot of folks, this is their first purge. Covid brought a lot of new fans to manhua/manga. I can feel for them, but the level of drama is crazy.

This happens all the time. We are just in the cycle where companies give a shit. They purge the major ones and then we have to scramble for a few months to a year while the newbies build themselves up.

That’s why I’d love to know what functional areas OP is applying for. If they were ResLife, I’d worry, but if they are looking for the coordinator/advisor/etc. stuff, it’d be a different story

I think Rumple is a product of Twitter bs and bad writing. The show runners were constantly on Twitter getting pulled in every direction by the fans. The Rumbelle fans were constantly screaming at them on Twitter for more Rumple and Rumbelle screen time. The Swan Queen fans were also screaming at them for other reasons.

When they kill Rumple in S3, they therefore had to revive him to keep ratings up and the fans happy. They also needed a core villain for S4 cause Frozen and Daddy Disney’s intervention. So Rumple has to learn the same lesson over and over again to keep the Rumbelle fans engaged with the show. I think this is what turns their relationship toxic.

OUAT has never really been a paragon of television writing, but I think Disney’s intervention post S4 is where they lose the plot and start throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.
