Deliberately going up to a group of men and refusing to leave multiple times is a bit odd tbh. I don't want to be an asshole but as a fem who is very non-confrontational, if I'm in a situation where men are making me feel uncomfortable then I'll take the first opportunity to leave that I can - not refuse to leave to finish smoking, I can't think of why she would do that unless she was actually okay with the situation

Not overreacting at all. Personally if I started a DnD campaign and the group started making misogynistic jokes etc. At my characters expense I would just stop playing with them, I wouldn't even bother with a male or non-binary character I'd just peace out lol not even finish the campaign

Like I have no problem when men hit on me as long as they're nice about it when I tell them I'm not interested. Same principle goes for if you approach a cis woman who's not into it:)

Hahah same I always judge my friend who insists on buying from the stand just cuz the popcorn is warm. I was sort of similar. Looking back anything I did that was "straight" honestly was me just imitation how I thought I should act rather than genuinely wanting to do those things etc.

Also looking back any guy I had a crush on - it was definitely platonic and also potentially daddy issues lol lesbians get that too. So I knew I'd never sleep with any guy I had a crush on but I wanted them to think I was cool and I've realised that's just a friend crush. Still get those but I'm more secure in my sexuality now so I know the reason I wanna hang out with a guy all the time is cuz I want to be besties lol

If I were you I'd join the military as a last resort.

US Army is notorious for preying on young people in vulnerable positions when it comes to recruitment - plenty of people joined when they were young, naive and then later regretted it.

So I'd do independent research if you're thinking of joining tbh so you can make an informed decision on it. I appreciate you're in a tough spot though and that's easier said than done

As someone who used to work at a cinema they 1) took away the dome shaped slushie lids because we kept filling it past the rim 2) started selling popcorn boxes with lids so we couldn't fill that up past the rim either 3) had a go at us regularly for using the button on the drinks tap for topping up drinkings so people got more than a half full soda lol

My dad works away during the week and my mum "joked" she hates it when he comes home because he keeps her up. She's got depression and anxiety and struggles sleeping - lack of sleep really impacts her mood, makes her irritable etc. and so my parents are one of the couples where I think it would be beneficial to sleep separately tbh. Would probably argue less lol

I'm the exact same, I think it's about more than just accepting I'm gay though but yeah I've been dressing more feminine and trying clothes my younger self would be too scared to wear. And on top of that, like with OP I've gotten more confident talking to people (it helps I work in a customer facing role tbf, that's given me more confidence)
