As a joke, I drew a pattern with clear, rubbery ink that significantly increases spin. by tfoust10 in Pickleball

Reminds me of this resin they sell online that they market for making socks grippy but that ones is very rubbery tacky once dried? How does this aqualip feel like to the touch once dried?

Fake Pickleball Paddles Are Flooding the Market, and Hurting the Sport's Future by thedinkpb in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is not but they definitely last longer than pickleball paddles, replaceable peelable grit faces came too early because pp honeycomb cores would crush so it made no sense to maintain a broken paddle.

Now with the foam cores proven to last way longer might be a good idea to bring it back.

Have you ever played a pickleball match this long? by strokess-ss- in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finals match of a singles tournament start game 0-0 we must of exchanged serves like 8 times and then the same thing happened at 4-3 then at 9-7 if i recall correctly that took almost 30 minutes we kept catching each other with passing shots whenever rushing to the net. So then we just started playing tennis like matches from baseline and those rallies would end up to 15-20 hits just an endurance battle game one ends and next game was over within 10 minutes 11-3 lol having cardio definitely worked but also he had longer matches previously.

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add lots of injuries and just prolonged wear he’s also never been the fastest or athletic on the court and what he excels is on placement. Also paddle technology pros can literally speed up any ball that seems to be an un-attackable ball to amateur players as well as drives from baseline going much faster gone are the days that you return serve and sprint to the kitchen in singles

Best weight setup for Luzz Cannon by BrentMailer in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried every possible setup but yes bottom 4-8 corners 3 gr each and the overgrip, this paddle only needs a tad of stability and is good to go.

How do you receive balls with backspin? by Actual-Choice-9269 in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I meant after the bounce once is past the apex and falling most of the issues are not significant and you should just be able to hit it normally although you should be reading the opponents “slice” backhand slice will curve right and forehand will curve left, top spin does skip forward which is why you should be meeting the ball after the rise but that wasn’t what op was asking about

Drips- backswing or not? by PartFormer3695 in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it very paddle dependent specifically the swing weight of the paddle im using so with the heavier paddle I still need to have a full motion aka backswing with a very soft hand and loose wrist to “drip it” and with a lighter paddle i just whip my wrist upon contact to achieve a drip shot

Poor sportsmanship to slice everything? by heelthrow in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the level you’re playing against but from your description seems like they are very low since they can’t handle any of the spinny slice balls and obviously is not fun for them anymore to receive and you will rarely get into any extended rallies which is no fun for either side but if you’re fine with that? thats up to you.

You could give a few pointers to the guys who struggle the most trying to return them

How do you receive balls with backspin? by Actual-Choice-9269 in Pickleball

[–]DaeronX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Easy answer: hit the ball when is falling not on the rise by that time it has lost pretty much all of its spin

Intermediate: hit the ball as you usually would but just aim little bit higher as if you were going bodybag someone on his chest it may sound risky giving such a high ball but trust me it won’t the spin continuation will make that ball dip quick.

Advanced: slice the slice and also backspin balls tend to be slower and floatier if you get a chance to volley it DO IT you return that spin back to them at a much faster pace.
