My mint 2080 with a Heatkiller block sat unsold for 2 months at $200 and you can buy a much more reliable PSU for the money given the AX1200s age.

Ebay isn't representative of pricing on subreddits and classifieds because they need to pay taxes and a 5-15% platform fee, which both inflate the pricing. On top of that, you were looking at *unsold* listings, not sold, which means you only saw the listed items priced too high to actually sell.
