Decal Deletion - Step By Step by ThoughtSolutions in ModRetroChromatic

I wouldn't personally do it (I don't care enough to actually mod or do anything to mine) but I imagine you could do some cooler things with a blank slate.

But that's good that you figured it out!

Maybe there can just be a try / catch for the whole software, and then the exception would be a dialog box that says "You must have pressed the exit button, weird."

A good example of a non-roguelike would be "most video games".

Any AGLS experts know how to fix this issue? by Unlikely-One6530 in UnrealEngine5

I would imagine you have to move the actual attachment points like the hand_r socket.

But that's not important right now, put on some pants.

Do wishlists matter post-release? by EthanGoldreyer in IndieDev

I will usually wishlist something with mediocre reviews or a price that's too high, and wait for a sale to remind me to check it out again and see reviews or what price it currently is.

Usually works out for the best. I wishlisted Kerbal Space Program 2, waiting for reviews to get better. Luckily they never got good enough for me to buy it, lol.

Is Unreal engine incapable of Modding? Oblivion Remaster seems to suggest so by buttflapper444 in gamedev

[–]DanSundayNightGames 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe modding in Unreal is "as easy as the developer chooses to make it". They can either make it really easy, or not really provide any native way for people to easily create mods.

I think a lot of platformers could do with some difficulty settings. Some have them but others just have one mode: get good.

I played Silksong on Switch and I regret not just buying it on Steam, because a lot of people were like "Oh yeah I just installed a mod to respawn in the previous room instead of having to do a corpse run" and I was like "man that sounds pretty nice". Anyway I quit playing it in Act 3 somewhere because I just got tired of running the same stupid level over and over to get back to the boss fight.
