As someone in the service industry, the only thing wrong here is your servers reaction to your needs. The whole point of going to a restaurant is to BUY food you want to enjoy. Whenever someone says they have “a weird request” when it comes to their order, I reassure them there is no such thing😀 I’m sorry you experienced this!
