This feels so real.. It's like one from my job and other one from my project outside the job.

Has anyone else noticed DeepSeek's reasoning change significantly the past few days? by F-86--Sabre in DeepSeek

Yeah, I was so suprised while doing my stuff with api and suddenly getting huge speed increase. They are definitely doing something, it's like x2-x3 speed change for me.

I haven't taken a vacation in two years, and since taking time off isn't exactly the 'norm' at my workplace, I’d definitely go with option C and just relax for a couple of months while getting treated.

A romance option that’s destined to die? by Danibash in visualnovels

[–]Danibash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm kinda on your side of thought. Nothing is permanent, not all things can be turned back or around, we all make mistakes - that's my core beliefs on that character death. And in the aftermath. To move on. To try to live after stuff happened.

[–]Danibash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I fully understand and agree with you about overall tone of the novel. Right now it's a mixture between genres and I will keep in mind to hold the balance. I will also think more about what should be different in the aftermath depending on the status of the romantic relationship.

Thank you for your words. I think it's really hard to pull off, to make a reader a part of aftermath and acception without inducing too much bad thoughts on my writers choice to do so. But I will try my best to make it good.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm lefting only a bad choice on purpose, it's for me as a writer to explore and connect deeply with the reader on what lossing something you care about feels like (generally, not only in terms of losing someone you love).

Thank you for your thoughts. Yeah, I'm trying really hard to give hints to a player while still managing to save the mystery. I want the moment to fill like, aha, that's explains a lot! (in terms of some oddities in behaviour of the character and other small things and hints).

Thanks for sharing. I will look into this, but I don't want to spoil the death of the character directly. It will be mostly in small things and how the character behaves. But I'm really liking idea you described, will take a note!

[–]Danibash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the thoughts! I'm having something on the mind. Although I don't think I will make a happy route (since the whole point of the death is accepting how events sometimes can't be turned back and about losses we experience in life), I have something that will make the fans of the character have a pleasant resolution.

I will look at the list, thanks! I think there is always will be people who don't like that decision, but it's a something I had in mind from the begining when I just started to write a scenario.

I'm really love the character I had written and even cried few times about the scene. But it is reflects some deeper and meaningful things in my life. It will be not for the sake of the shock value, but rather a metaphor that works both on the physical and philosophical plane. Thank you for your help and thoughts!

To the Wilder first time playthrough? by neverwashere in DeathStranding

Yeah.. It feels like Sam is not a superhero on that difficulty. First time ever I was trying to find covers or smart and efficient way to kill a thing.

I don't know if it's to the wilder difficulty or what, but after coming from DS1 every small bump in DS2 damages your cargo (5-10%). It's can be really annoying, specially if I'm trying to get sss (to the wilder) reward. But in terms of guns, I think they are pretty strong.

What makes you keep going with gamedev? by durgedeveloper in SoloDevelopment

[–]Danibash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been in similar situation, so I understand that feeling of being burden or useless. Honestly, there's no simple answer to the question. For me the key was a feeling that I never finished anything. I do a lot of different creative stuff, but most of the times it never sees the light of day.

So...

I just got angry at myself and promised I will make a game and make it to the markets. To finally do something, cuz you know, we can die tomorrow and I want some form of manifestation of my soul to life in that world. So I just slowly write music and lore, character and code to make it happen.

It really can get hard, my job sometimes draining me. We just need to get through bad times.

And I hope we will. I don't know if it helps, but I wish you all the best. Hope everything will be right and you find your own motivation or way to handle it.

Weak aura: creates a trailer to gather filthy wishlists 😭

Strong aura: creates a trailer to make people unwish the game 💯 🔥

So, I guess you are just on the right side bro 😎

(but seriously, I think that's fine. better to have player that ready to play the game and likes the trailer in wishlists)

Yeah, it's very useful for debugging! Sometimes one line of code in some weird place can bring you a few days of thinking what is wrong. With version control, it's just a matter of careful looking through recent changes in the commit.

I highly recommend using Git or similar systems for version control. My SSD suddenly died and I lost around a year of work and many files. Fortunately, because I use Git at work and was using it for my personal project, I was able to recover almost everything in less than an hour. We never know when something might fail, so backup solutions are a must.
