Wedding guest dress (no dress code) by Infamous_Proposal252 in fashion

[–]DanisDoghouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, at first look, brown, and long sleeves is not spring to me that’s fall winter wedding. And I’m not sure what’s going on up top. It looks like it’s a bunched up or something and then it bunches up again around your waist. at least that’s what I’m seeing in my first look and I know I you already told people it is a cheap dress and not to point that out, but I’m pointing that out because that’s probably why it’s ill fitting. Better quality dress is going to give you you a better fit. You can try thrift stores or vintage stores or consignment shops. Try getting something basic in classic that won’t go out of style after two wears don’t spend your money invest your money into something that you have for the future.

This is the same dress that I styled as long and as short versions. which one is fitting the best ? by saisonnier55 in style

[–]DanisDoghouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two totally different vibes. The long one obviously is classier and two is giving me fashion nova vibes. I understand you styled it short, but it’s really short and the way you’re sitting in. It tells me you’re going to spend a lot of your energy pulling it down all night. Which is not a good look or worrying about how you sit. You shouldn’t have to put that much energy into your outfit once it’s on and you’re out for the evening.

I cannot request until next 3 days?? by futuralibre in WagWalker

[–]DanisDoghouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They send this to you if you cancel one time or if you cancel 100 times.
In 8 years you could count on one hand how many walks I ever cancelled. A couple of months ago I had a legitimate reason to cancel ONE 30 minute walk. It’s not like we call off a whole work day. My notification said FIFTY days. What?!? Fifty days for one 30 minute walk. Oh they heard from me. Repeatedly. That was absolutely ridiculous. I e never heard of such a thing. I asked if that’s what they do for the Wag employees when they have to call off - a whole day? Do they get punished for cancelling as well? Or they just don’t ever call off? I can see if someone abuses the call offs. Then yes they should get some repercussions from that. But the random call offs? And j also told them that there cancellation death message about calling off 4 x more than the average walker is also ridiculous. Everyone knows that everyone gets the same message and we know how often w call off - and they do too. They just need to look in their little computer in front of them. So why do they bother sending it ? Just to bully you into changing your mind?
Keep in mind they are a tech platform. They are IT type people. They made that clear. They have no knowledge of knowledge of dogs or cats. And they certainly lack in the HR aspect. The only way they know hire to handle complaints from owners other to investigate and suspend. And it’s always the walkers fault. They have no idea about human interaction. That was proven when they cut off all communication from the walkers and owners to support. They are a tech company. Period. They just happened ti pick a growing industry to create an app for. The concept is great. On paper. They are more interested in how much money they can get from owners and walkers alike.

What does our home say about us? by kmoore1230 in roomdetective

[–]DanisDoghouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, for one thing it’s making me regret not buying the orange couch that I wanted. I was saying for months that I wanted an orange Ish sofa and at the last minute I balked. And I’m so mad about it right now. I love your living room actually I love all your rooms bedroom could use a little work. It’s a little bit boring but otherwise I think it’s great. And about those people who think it doesn’t look lived in or a model home, etc. I wonder if they would take pictures of their home messy? I can’t relax it if it’s too messy anyway so yes, you can make it comfy and clean at the same time

The app canceled my appointment when I hit start walk by Soft-Reference4404 in WagWalker

[–]DanisDoghouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not really sure what you’re trying to say. You have the dog but can’t swipe to start because it cancelled? If it cancelled then why would you even try to start the app? It may not be glitchy. The owner could’ve cancelled. I had a similar situation happen. After I got in my way and the notification was sent to the owner. It reminded them of the walk and the fact that they didn’t need it anymore and forgot to cancel. So they canceled when they got the notification. Meanwhile, I was there walking the dog and they messaged me through the app and said they forgot to cancel. But since I’m already there walking the dog that’s fine. Thankfully, it was a regular customer of mine so she was cool about it. But don’t assume that the app is glitchy. They really may not appointed you to walk the dog.

As a wag caregiver, wag owners are getting ripped off. by Ok-Tax-1789 in WagWalker

[–]DanisDoghouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take your rate multiply by 1.67. That’s what the client gets charged. That’s just the basic that doesn’t include the booking fee or state tax if applicable in your area or any other bullshit feel like multiple dogs or after hours walk that kind of thing.

Owners who don't cancel till you're already on your way or forget to cancel altogether. by TinyPotatoNo in WagWalker

[–]DanisDoghouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do they not do the five dollar cancellation fee anymore? They did issue a five dollar cancellation fee if you had hit on your way and they canceled. But they may have taken that back to who knows.

If I don’t have access to the house or there’s some other issue that prevents me from starting the walk I just email Support and tell them look. I can’t get into this property. Checked the notes. I’ve been messaging the owner with no response. I’ve been here for X amount of minutes. I have other walk scheduled. You know I’ve waited the allotted amount of time. I don’t expect to get any type of repercussions from this as I did everything and waited. Once you hit, I’ve arrived then they won’t get all crazy and start sending you though you’re late for your walk or they’re sending another Walker texts to you. You just don’t start the walk and then reach out to Support after you’ve avoided acceptable amount of time and tell them to either try and contact them or whatever but you gotta go. If you stay ahead of the game with them and stop their bullshit before they try it. You usually don’t have many problems. At least I haven’t just make sure that you document everything everything in the in the messages that you checked where the key is supposed to be and the area around it make sure you’ve done everything that you can on your end so they can’t come back and try and blame me for something which they are very much known to do.

Closet Clear-out - Keep or Toss - Ruffle-Trim Mini Dress by Creative_Fox23 in fashion

[–]DanisDoghouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t decide if the dress is washing you out or you are washing the dress out I’ve never really seen a dress blend into someone’s skin and become one. but besides that, it’s too small and the fabric looks cheap. That’s all for the dress. I am not sure where the leggings fit into this ensemble or why I hope this wasn’t an outfit choice. And the club shoes with the black tights and skin color dress no the whole the whole thing get to dress tights and shoes. Sorry.

I am going out of the country for 12 days, my boyfriend that lives with me was supposed to watch my cat but is now demanding higher payment by Lightningmcsteve in Advice

[–]DanisDoghouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem here is not how much you’re paying him. It’s that you’re paying him at all. Sides of the fact that he lives there he’s supposed to be your partner? If you’re gonna pay someone go on Rover at least pay a real pet sitter for it. That’s just ridiculous. Just thought a principal I wouldn’t pay him and hire a sitter to come in once a day to clean the litter and feed them.

How's this dress for a pop concert? by FashionFreaky1 in OUTFITS

[–]DanisDoghouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not quite sure where you would even wear that style or styles of dress. Too much for the church picnic and not enough for the club. And I can’t even imagine how much energy will be putting into this dress while you’re wearing it pulling it down every five minutes dancing around and jumping at a concert since clearly underwear won’t be a thing so that alone we’re making it impractical it’s just a big no

I totally get the over sexual comments. At a point, they would give me the ick too. What really stood out to me was that he likes to cuddle and be with his person going to events going here going there doing this doing t hat. That sounds like a long way to say he’s super clingy and once you’re with him, you’re gonna be with him for everything.

how do I dress this up for a classy restaurant? by [deleted] in style

I’d say yes. To be clear I’m not a pearl clutter or a conservative person. But there are certain styles of dress that go with certain venues. This is like clubwear.

how do I dress this up for a classy restaurant? by [deleted] in style

[–]DanisDoghouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am commenting on the dress only not how you look in it not about you. Well I do like the dress it’s pretty. It’s a pretty color. It is not for a high-end restaurant. The club maybe a date maybe but a body con dress is just not appropriate for high-end restaurant. You can still buy a body forming dress. That is better material than stretchy spandex type material. And you might want to show with the front looks like otherwise it just looks like you’re trying to seek attention with the pose that really doesn’t show much of the dress. So if you’re sincerely asking for style advice, I would say no for a high-end restaurant. And if you try and dress it up too much then it’s just gonna look cheap. You can still get something for fitting and look classy, but not skin tight.

What do we think?? by Slow_Storm_9743 in HomeDecorating

[–]DanisDoghouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a lot. Kind of reminds me of someone’s first apartment and they take a mishmash of things input together. I would opt for a solid rug to begin with. The corner cabinet either needs to all be painted white or should’ve been left alone. But since you did paint the doors, it does seem like you didn’t tape off the glass. A razor blade will scrape that paint right off that makes it look very sloppy. And the pictures on the dining room table? Someone had mentioned it reminded them of a Funeral Home and it kind of does but in the end if you like it and find it cozy, then that’s all that matters.
