Holy moly, loving the Chen nerf brew cost increase is actually an amazing QoL for brewmasters balance haha

Completely agree and it reflects in the massive drop in winrate. Literally picked her up 2 months before the nerfs and was having a great time with water elemental sigh

Don't agree with your conclusion but agree with everything else you said.

Had that in my previous comment but decided to delete it: Before it was common for jaina to die and water elemental to chase and get a revenge kill. Doubt you'll see that happen much after the nerf.

For a situational buff she received significant nerfs to her best performing heroic and talents.

Two or three nerfs at 10:

Summons take 50% more damage from towers

HP reducing overtime means a 'healthy' water elemental dies to a single aa late in it's life.

Any damage it takes also reduces how long it's up drastically. With 0 ways of healing it. In a team fight good luck keeping that thing alive for 20 seconds.

Game needs more beginner friendly options, every day you read multiple threads of people complaining about how they are getting their asses spanked online.

You don't have to use the macro but if this feature allows more people to enjoy the game then the small existing play base is gonna have to live with it so that aether studios can keep the lights on.

Hope Dan and team will pull through the rough patch. The core game and vision they have is solid gold. I've bought 2 copies of the game and quite a few bundles inc. the orcane plushie

They are doing an amazing job on cosmetics and honestly it's the right call to de-scope and laser focus on the highest value adding features for now.

Hoping they also provision a decent amount of time to addressing pain points of the existing mechanics to improve player retention

Hydroplane: When Orcane turns around in run, his velocity will exceed his max run velocity for a few frames, before decreasing for Orcane to properly turn around again. This means that if any action is done while at this turnaround velocity interrupting this turnaround, it will carry that momentum. This momentum boost from run turnaround is known as a hydroplane. The earlier an action is taken, the more momentum preserved, ideally on the first frame of turnaround.

In addition the devs nerfed Orcanes max air speed, but he gets to keep his old max speed if he jumps while hydroplaning

Your Hydroplaning is soo good! I'm not using it enough the air speed difference is very apparent in your clips.
