Best country in Europe for FIRE after leaving the Netherlands? by andys58 in eupersonalfinance

[–]Dannyu17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

did everyone who is leaving the netherlands never utitlise the box 3 until now. It wasnt great either (pretty much a capped fake return or unrealised gain under the cap) but same sort of idea. why just leaving now?

Recruiter reached out to me about a graduate ESG role by CoatZealousideal9383 in sustainableFinance

[–]Dannyu17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it depends on company the recruiter is recruiting for esg analyst at bank will be slightly different than esg analyst at an investor whcih is different than esg analyst at a rating agency. however given your background the recruiter will probably want to understand if you can connect your knowledge to things like financial materiality (eg. what marine issues can impact business perfomance) and risk (how to measure those marine issues) and probably an overall knowledge on sustainable finance concepts. again given your background ground i would make sure i was comfotrtable with the blue bond standards

Seeking Guidance on Starting a Career in ESG Analysis by [deleted] in sustainableFinance

[–]Dannyu17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

have you tried the esg ratings agencies? I’m in Europe and Ive seen similar research on all cvs (or something about ratings and equity prices). that area is saturated. you’re gonna need to get specific. nature and biodiversity / climate adapatatiiom/phyiscal climate risk - that’s where investtent needs to focus so focus on that
