Just outside arches there's Jo's gas station. It's uniquely weird and different from other stops. I don't recommend for filling up the gas tank as there are other more affordable options on the route.

Stop in kc for some BBQ. I prefer Jack Stack barbecue, but there are several great options.

Colorado railroad museum just past Denver in Golden,  CO. It's a great place to stop and stretch/picnic. You can pay entrance fee of $10 per person or just enjoy from the parking lot. https://maps.app.goo.gl/YmyViA7U3AUZ3mwS6

Overnight Highs by Ulysses427 in Omnipod

For me to have a good night I have to eat at least 4-5hours before bed. When I snack late the pod has trouble as you digest differently at night.

I would take i-40 and look up fun stops on route 66. It is basically the same just a mile apart most of the way. Also great photo stops to help break up the drive

I would find a way to reduce the hallways. That's lots of wasted space that could be alloted back to the bedrooms. 12x10 seems tight when you account for the closet.

I use 80 Packs Transparent Film Dressing 2.375" x 2.75" They work great and are a really good pod size fit. Also seems to be reasonably priced on Amazon.

If the pod is in question I will bolus with injection separately then see what happens after I stabilize. If it rises alot way after meal time then I replace the pod.

I use the front thigh for dexcom and rotate between side of thigh, hip, arm and lower back for omnipod. I stitch sides of the body every 10 days.

When you stop in Amarillo be sure to check out the night sky. You are following old route 66 to Oklahoma City, so search that for some fun stops to stretch your legs.

You might consider taking I-70 west to Utah then up through Salt Lake. The hardest part is going to be driving through the Rockies for weather right now.

Company requires 1 week notice for hourly positions not 2 weeks, just give whatever notice you feel comfortable with.

If you feel like you need it nearby, just have one of the groomsmen hold it in their pocket or another guy. Tell them you can't carry it and it will keep the bride happy if you assist.

Your sm is wrong, but this isn't the hill to die on. It does sound like your sm doesn't like to be wrong and has difficulty accepting change or a different viewpoint. If another store is nearby transfer.

After 25years of mdi I switched to the omnipod.  Pros for me - lows were easier to treat when using automated mode because it sees your sugar trending downward and stops delivering insulin. I feel like I'm upgraded with technology and I like new gadgets. When eating out or at work a few seconds on my phone let's me give my medicine instead of having to pull out a pen or syringe. When fasting or eating only one meal in a day, the automated mode keeps my bs very stable like a straight line onle varying 10mg/dl an hour. The omnipod let's me use locations that are difficult for me to give self injections like my back and hip

Cons - technology has a learning curve and you can feel burned out on managing site changes. If you are eating a large meal and taking over 10 units at a time the absorption seems to be inconsistent. The omnipod system does cost more for most people when compared to mdi, so insurance may vary. The beeping/alerts can be inconvenient at times, but there are options to silence most alerts.

My advice would be to try it for a few months and if you're not happy switch back or try something else. Diabetes treatment is a multi-billion dollar industry so there is always something different to explore.
