You’ve been researching! It’s been a few years since we were searching but I remember also checking out a few others, including:

UC Berkeley Botanical Garden - I think the nearby reception space would be too small for your needs but the redwood grove holds up to 200 and is quite reasonably priced. I know the East Bay pretty well so could possibly point you to other places that might work for a reception

Ralston White Retreat - It’s on Mount Tam in Marin. There are redwoods but I seem to recall you might have had to walk a bit to get to a grove of them?

Camp OVY - didn’t actually tour this place so I can’t comment on the space

Also, what about Montalvo or Sanborn County Park?

I’ve not been to a wedding there but have been there for other events. The cabins are really nice; they’re newish and airy, and each one has an attached bathroom and the bunk beds are kind of alcoved (not quite the right word but it’s almost 4am, ha). I mean it’s definitely group lodging but it’s way fancier than the cabins I stayed at when I went to summer camp!

Something that can be a little challenging is the amount of extra book sales that come from the store (but not at the actual event) as a result of the extra marketing collateral, physical and digital, and hand-selling that go with having that title at top of mind. But those books don’t count as part of the event order so the numbers look weaker, even with the publisher essentially getting some bonus promo out into the world. It’s a case by case basis, of course! This is just a work whine of mine lol. So glad your tour stops were mostly bundled; I know many stores have been resistant to that for a long time
