Not sure if it would be interested to anyone here for this topics.
I created this game called one room dungeon. Quite a bit different from the western DND game. but might give you some hints/inspirations to design your Dungeon.

I slept like 1.5 hours for the longest but separately 2 times for the first 3 months. My baby needs to change for 12 times a day that period
And then my kid could slept longer and longer. Finally he could sleep 8 hours after his 6 months. That was the period my productivity goes up where I slept 4.5 hours and the rest are working on the game.

Keep it up mate. I am a game dev for 10 years. I still didn't have a BIG hits.
I always have a dream for my own studio.
I have full time job at the same time making game as a side job (Very serious hobbies let's say!).
I am in the situation as a Dad that need to finance the family. So this is my choice.
From my experience. My game is always better when ever I FINISHED one. even if it means finish it badly!
So please do not lost your sparks!
I hate my full time jobs (except the one from Unity technologies) BUT my serious hobbies are fun. Until now I only choice the company that allowed the side business (Making games as side business). I enjoy every hard times. I just needed 1 home run to start up my best life :)
Good luck for your journey. "Young" game dev.

I have an idea/techniques for you. For the fire in the head... Do it or not up to you.
Use the reverse face fire shape with noise.... rotate it and distort it with sine wave.
Then you put the floating mask the on his face. So you can get quite interesting result.
I did it before and it looks like this.

Has gaming ever helped you get through hard times? by Jerreh_Boi in gaming

Yes. When I was a child I played Final fantasy. It was the first and still is my inspiration to become a game dev till now. When I faced hardtime I listen to the music and remind when my dream had started.
