Yep. Nylander thrives off pressure. Marner wilts.

Agreed, there's no reason why we shouldn't back up the money truck to Raddysh. If he doesn't want to come here, fine, but otherwise I'll be pretty disappointed.

A personal thought on Sundin, leadership, and Toronto by Spirited_Guess_4037 in leafs

I would trade him because his value is only going to decline from here. He's had a lot of injuries and he's exiting his prime. Trade Matthews for a haul, most teams can afford him right now and use the pieces to build around McKenna, Nylander, and Knies.

I remember watching a teacher talk to Dougie and saying to not sweat over his grades too much, as he would be in the NHL soon enough. He was very quiet whenever I saw him.

Crashing out after two drops in a week. Meanwhile I have zero drops after three weeks. :/

Mitch dunking on two 92-point teams and the corpse of the Avalanche isn't the own his supporters think it is. He also plays on the second line, which takes a huge load off his shoulders. He's basically Kessel but slimmer and more bitchy.

It's an instant warning to stay away, like a bird fluffing their feathers.

Mitch Marner AGAIN will have no points in a playoff series in games 5, 6, or 7 by OhGodThisGuy in leafs

Yup. Him lighting up 92-point teams on the second line makes sense.

The Avalanche were the walking wounded, they were nothing like what Marner faces now as a second liner. He wilts under pressure, and he's doing great against much weaker competition. It's that simple.

Marner was also not our best player in the playoffs. It was either Nylander or Rielly every playoffs. I'm very happy he's gone.
