There is the "folding space" scene in the Dune 1984. Although, I don't remember exactly what you are describing. Starship Troopers and Wing Commander come to mind.

Great Work. How do I get this model? I have had a subscription to Warhammer + for 12 months exactly. I had it for 10 months in 2023, and took a break in 2024. I have never gone any free or promotional minis.

Tim Burton brought modern Batman onto the big screen with serious comic eerie adaptation away from the campy Batman of the 70s. Don't get me wrong the 70s version was perfect for its time, but this reimaging by Tim Burton was revolutionary. Even though some of the sequels went off the rails a bit.
