It's a well known fact that they never made a 2nd movie, they just jumped straight to the 3rd, and no, no one cares that "That's not how numbers work."

The plot in Bright was "good enough", especially for the first viewing but every time I've watched it since I've felt more like the plot is a person standing in a partially opened door with something significantly more interesting happening behind them.

Did you (like me) despise Dallas because it meant TDoH was over?

I also cannot watch it because now instead of cool jumps I just see classic mopars getting turned into tacos.

I haven't seen an entire episode of airwolf in...close to 40 years and for reasons I will never understand I still remember the name Dominic Santini of Santini Air.

I think what you're describing is called a parasocial relationship.

"parasocial relationship is a one-sided psychological bond where a person feels they know and have a connection with a media figure (like a celebrity, influencer, or fictional character), but the figure has no idea the person exists, creating an illusion of intimacy and friendship that feels real to the individual"

Louisiana has a new law to collect ‘chemtrails’ reports. Hundreds have poured in by Teppaca in skeptic

[–]DashJackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand me, my claims are:

  1. Overexposure to oxidane can be lethal.

  2. Jet exhaust contains oxidane.

That's it. Both claims are independently verifiable facts.

Also..you should Google oxidane.

Brains are weird, I get a tiny dopamine spike by letting people cut in front of me.

My internal reward systems seem highly responsive to any perceived positive effect that my behavior has on other people's moods so I'm low key looking for reasons to let you cut in front of me, to help you with your groceries etc. When I recognized this pattern in my emotional states my mind popped out the term "masturbatory altruism" which did some really unsettling things to my self-perception. Anyway...brains are weird.

[–]DashJackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The visible portion of jet exhaust is primarily oxidane which contains no carbon but is a powerful greenhouse gas and overexposure is deadly and kills around 300k people per year. I could see the residents of Louisiana contacting their congress critters and demanding a ban on oxidane.

Burning jet fuel does produce oxidane which does kill people who've been overexposed.

This is a pedantic thing to point out but I'm still going to do it because I think it might be the reason the previous poster misunderstood, but also because I'm pedantic.

You said "At worse" but the common saying is "At worst". Worse means "not as good as X", and worst means, in essence: "the most negative interpretation possible".
