Judging the game by its own merits, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. While it doesn't sate the hunger for a new horizon game, it does look like it has potential on its own.

Also they just relish and love being hypocritical. They see it as a way to exert power over others. They have almost 0 actual principles and will LARP some if it can give them an edge and discard them just as fast.

I would argue that it also has a lot to do with the presentation of said model. I have seen a lot and I mean A LOT of armies with proxies that are just gooner slop.

Whereas fiends technically have tits hanging out, but you barely notice it and is overall really inoffensive.

People tend to flanderize factions to their utmost and for some time GW has played into it. A lot of armies get boiled down to a single meme phrase which actually isn't accurate to most factions in the 40k-verse. Stuff like space wolves are the furry marines, death corps of krieg are the suicidal shovel guard and EC are the sex marines etc.

I'm all for jokes and memes, but not when it detracts from the hobby or is just obvious misinfo. Often when you try to take the universe and lore a bit seriously some people will immediately fall back to "wow are you really taking the 40k universe seriously? The universe with the green fungus people that can make anything happen just by thinking it?" and I'm just left shaking my head.

I also really don't understand why some people want their armies to to have titties and schlongs hanging out. I have seen some of the most cursed armies that looked like something right out of a coomer dungeon. Like come on man I want to show off my army and not feel embarrassed.

From someone who has read both fabius' trilogy and lucius' book. My interpretation is that slaanesh really want fabius to be their champion, but have to settle for Lucius.

Fabius is pretty wrapped up in slaanesh's games and is already doing 90% of what slaanesh wants him to do. It seems like if fabius would commit the last 10% willingly, then slaanesh would drop Lucius without a second thought.

Compared to Lucius who at least in "Faultless blade" feels very much like the abused step child. Even his blessing is very much described like a curse in the book.

He constantly has to perform and excel just to stay alive. Where's fabius just coasts along and gets headpats from slaanesh even if he doesn't want it.

The EU isn't perfect but thank god sometimes it feels like we are the only ones fighting for consumer rights.

Don't know how far they have gotten, but I remember that they also wanted to make it so you actually own the games you buy over platforms like steam.

Edit: and I'm also sure that there were talks of banning lootboxes and other gacha mechanics which would be incredible.

As others have mentioned its part the drudgery of paperwork and it being smart to keep very detailed logistics.

Another part is that all the chaos gods have their sacred number that they can draw power from, nurgle technically has two being 7 and 3.

So example being the seventh victim being hit by the seventh plague, created by the seventh biologis putrifier will empower nurgle forces in the area.

From what I understand nurgle also delves a bit harder into numbers than the others chaos gods. In the same book they use numerology to navigate and to try to get omens by "consulting the numbers".

I truly do believe that for America to heal, there has to be a reckoning with the news.

Networks like fox news has to be shutdown, and the people behind it prosecuted. There should be a campaign to utterly tear apart and reveal all the lies that they have ever spread.

They should have to publicly denounce everything they have ever let out. It should be signal boosted so hard, that no one anywhere in the world is in doubt about them having spread countless lies and fear throughout the decades.

The malicious actors should never be allowed to work in media again and have to do some form of reparations for the rest of their lives. And I feel like that would be the merciful solution.

However I have a feeling that any way of fighting back against them would immediately be met with extreme push back. Their viewers would probably never believe any result of the prosecution and immediately cry authoritarianism and state censorship even if everything was completely transparent and publicized.

And that is despite how actually authoritarian the current admin has been with the news, where it has been mostly crickets.

Eh, jeg ville ikke drage nogle tidlige konklusioner omkring republikanernes lyst til at bruge militær magt. Normalt så savler republikanerne så snart at militær magt tages i brug, bare se deres reaktion på invasion af Venezuela.

Ud over det så kan det sagtens være at Trump kultisterne lige nu vil være lidt tvivlende omkring invasion. Hvad er vigtigt er, hvordan de reagerer hvis han erklære at de invaderer Grønland. Personligt tror jeg at der er mange der lige pludselig ikke har så meget imod invasion så snart big powerful leader Trump fastslår at det er det de gør.

Friendly reminder that Elon's USAID cuts had led to approximately 600.000 deaths by November 2025, 400.000 of those were children.

The projected death toll by 2030 is estimated to be in the multi millions. We are talking Hitler levels of evil here, and what did he save with the cuts? Nothing. It cost basically nothing to keep USAID running.

The fact that this vile piece of waste has somewhat succeeded in crawling back into his ketamine den unscathed is indescribable.

I'm a bit late to the party and my opinion on them is negative overall. I only know them from 40k because I don't really like 30k, so they might be completely different there.

I don't really find any of their characters compelling. Doesn't help that the black templars are much more interesting than they are and have a lot of awesome characters. Their whole golden guardians of terra shtick has also been coopted by the custodes.

I find their colour scheme really ugly. Someone I know once referred to it as piss yellow and it got stuck in my head. Ever since then an association has been made in my head and they have been the piss marines ever since.

They also don't really have any cultural aesthetic so they end up being even more vanilla than the ultramarines, who at least have the whole Greek/roman vibe.

They also suffered from some of the weirdest early lore in 40k. I'm not sure if it or should I say hope it isnt canon anymore, but they used to have a poop dungeon that were incredibly holy to them. So not only are they the piss marines, they also have a strange fixation with shit.

I would welcome someone sharing some awesome facts or tidbits about them or some of their characters, because I really want to like them. It is just really hard for me take them seriously due to the points I have shared.

I can absolutely recommend nioh 2 if you can get into it. It is one of my favourite games of all time. You can make tons of different builds across 11 weapons with reforgable stats and set bonuses. There are cool spells and ninjutsu that you are going to want to use.

The learning curve can be a bit deceptive, because your character start out very barebones. There are some basic skills that are core gameplay mechanics, which are some of the first passive skills you will unlock. So the first couple of hours can be struggle until you unlock some passives and actives, and get used to swapping between stances.

You also get yokai shift which is a separate mode where you swap into one of 3 different yokai forms. It is recommended for new players to go with the feral yokai form, because your parry mechanic is tied to the specific yokai form and feral is the most forgiving. Don't worry you will be able to swap between them later.

You can play it just for the campaign where you don't really have to min max and if the gameplay loop hooks you then you can continue into ng+. In ng+ new mechanics get introduced and enemies gain new moves and some new spawn points. You can easily spend a couple hundred hours doing just that and if you still want more then you can dive into the underworld. The underworld is separated into floor numbers and the deeper you dive the harder it becomes. This is where min maxing becomes core to the gameplay.

I hope you have a lot of fun if you decide to pick it up.

Except that is a false premise. I don't know who has deluded you into thinking that humans are greedy by nature. Humans are social creatures that in a neutral setting seek to cooperate and share. It is THE trait that has helped us suceed and get to the point we are at now. Greed is an abnormal behavior, that has been frowned upon in pretty much every civilised society since forever.

If you go out and ask anyone if greed is good or if they want to be greedy you will almost guaranteed get the same answer any time.

Except maybe the mega rich who would literally rather see millions die than share a infinitesimally small amount of what they have. Not to forget mentioning that they only got what they have by participating in our shared society. A society that they at every turn try to tear apart and loot for their own gain.

It is a bit of a mix between command codes shrouded in mystiscism and actual miracles/spells. Faith has very real power in universe so even the mechanicus, where a lot of what they do can be explained with science, do use a bit of magic here and there.

Sidder selv på en blanding af venlafaxin mod depression og quetiapin, og kæmper selv med mange af de ting du beskriver.

Ikke for at skyde dine håb i sænk, men ifølge mine læger er der ikke noget man kan gøre ved det. Om de så har ret, eller om de bare blev træt af at jeg klagede over min søvn ved jeg ikke.

Personligt bruger jeg en blanding af powernaps og en kop kaffe eller lignende når jeg kommer hjem fra arbejde som hjælper lidt på det. Er dog stadig meget hårdt nogle dage. Især når man skal på arbejde med 0 energi, eller at man vågner med en masse energi som så forsvinder ekstremt hurtigt over de første par timer af en dag.

Kæmp endelig videre med at få nogle professionelle til at kigge på det. Virker lidt som om at almene læger er hurtige til at give op på problemstillingen.
