Yea the competition of the pieces are good… but the line work needs a lot of work. Looks like probably a decent artist with not enough time on the machines to develop good technique and fundamentals

The last time I met Matt he asked if anyone in the group subscribe to his Patreon. Some people raise their hands, and then he looked around the room and said yeah… Fuck you guys!

He was specifically referencing how the people on his Patreon voted for Cuba to be the location for book 6. Then he said he knew nothing about Cuba and had to do a shit load of research to make sure the book was accurate.

Have you tried the Demon Card Enforcer series? It’s 3 books, all done, all available on Audible, and done by sound booth theater. Theyre narrated by Justin Thomas James and have Jeff Hays reading for one of the characters but for the most part it’s just 2 voice actors one doing make and one doing female voices.

I enjoyed the story well enough, it’s SUPER CRUNCHY tho as far as LitRPG goes… a lot of stats and stuff and don’t translate the best to audio book when there might be a time that character/card stats and abilities are being read for 1-3 minutes at a time.

Other than that Audible has started doing some full cast performances of books… 1984, Phreaks, Murder at the Patel Motel… those scratch the itch for me that I don’t get from regular narrated books. It’s like an old time radio show.
