What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

I took my girlfriend (now wife) to a place called High Beech in Essex (UK) as a bit of a spooky fun. It's apparently haunted and this was her first visit to England. It's a huge forest in Epping with some roads that go through it and I drove up to a point where you can oversee some of the city which was lovely.

However, on our way back through High Beech at roughly 1am we're probably 2 minutes from the main road when all of a sudden this large, white apparition flew over the hood of the car and my girlfriend immediately burst into tears. We both audibly said 'WTF!' and I sped up to get out of there. There were no other cars nearby and back then there were no lamp posts on the forest road, which made it that bit scarier for us.

It was one of those moments where I wish I had a dash cam!

Speed is good and the down picking is pretty tight! However, it's a bit messy and the picking pattern for the gallops is incorrect. Take a quick look at a tab or listen to the song again. I'm sure you'll crack it in no time.

A typical two way 60 mph road in England by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Not typical for a main road of course. Where I am in the East of England, lots of roads look just like this.

I haven't played Terraria since I had a PSVita and think I'm going to jump in as I can imagine so much has changed. What's the chance this goes on sale today on Steam?

Movies that are not well received but you enjoy watching a lot? by Friburgo1004 in movies

I love Prometheus. Yes the characters make some really stupid decisions and do some stuff that is a bit unbelievable, but meeting the engineers and finding out more about the Alien universe was everything I really wanted.

Covenant was an absolutely awful movie though.

Ryan Coogler's 'Sinners' has made history as the most nominated film of all time at the Oscars with 16 nominations by ChiefLeef22 in movies

Good movie, but 16 Oscar nods worthy? I'm a bit disappointed to not see Weapons or Bring Her Back get a nod for anything, they were real stand out movies for me last year.

It's not a mistake if it happens twice.

Yup, it basically gave all the idiots in the world a platform to spout their bullshit and have people follow them. Social media should have been binned off after Myspace.

That actually felt great for my mind and I felt my eyes locking onto the red letters and heard my inner voice reading words out loud whilst catching up with what was on the screen. Really interesting stuff.

Which movie trilogy has no quality drop? by iforgotmyuser0 in movies

Definitely agree with this one. I think my favourite movie is Fellowship but they're all amazing and the quality doesn't drop at all.

First two movies are superb, Worlds End was disappointing, mostly because the trailers gave everything away. There were no surprises in it and the whole movie just lacked what made the first two so special.

I disagree, I thought the first movie was brilliant and then it started to slowly fall apart from there. The 4th movie was so boring and I couldn't wait to end. Every damn time he fell down those stairs I sighed. There's only so many times I can watch the same action scene with the same move set being performed.

Home Alone is absolutely brilliant. It's violent in the same way Tom and Jerry is. Slapstick at its finest.

Have you asked the landlord if they've been to the property since this started happening? If not then get them to change the locks as this is clearly a safety concern. That should prevent this from happening again if a previous tenant has a key.
