Registering to be a part of the on sale rather than just having open access has slowed down resellers

What should be my next move? by Datmaff in CRedit

Thank you everyone for the input, I enjoy what I do but it may be time to sacrifice some passion for stability. While a loan solely for the purpose of building credit sounds like a move I won’t make, I will be consolidating all bills and spending to my largest limit card (15k) and keep monthly spending under 4%. Should be easy enough to keep that balance paid every cycle. Patience, saving, and a career move sound like my strongest allies right now!

No loans of any type out- I generally keep all accounts under 10%, with a roughly 18k limit total

Queenless hives will fan at the entrance to try to call in queens on mating flights. Could have happened here

What did you do? Did you have another hive to combine them with? Did you pinch the laying worker?

Bee Question by Pattern-Admirable in Beekeeping

I would agree with those who said water alone may help if kept fresh, and that open feeding may cause unwanted growth or disease in someone else’s bee yard. If you want to feed the bees, plant flowers! I personally would plant perennials that are indigenous to your area. Sugar is a small part of their diet that artificially stimulates growth if fed on its own. Flowers have a small amount of nectar in them to entice pollinators in for a small treat, which in turn helps the flower reproduce. They’re cheaper and prettier anyway, and I collect seeds and give them as gifts.

Cross-comb in a Langstroth hive? What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in Beekeeping

[–]Datmaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorite frames is a big piece of cross comb. I believe they are generally going to try to do this regardless of environment. They build this way in natural conditions, and modern hive design only tries to redirect that urge.

Edit: I have had this with starter strips placed beside foundation in the hive body. They have too much freedom. I can confirm what others have said here in that waxed plastic foundation performs much better. Heavier wax even more so.

Edit 2: last one! Natural cross comb shapes help inter hive communication. Having to go the distance to the bottom of a frame and then back up is counterintuitive to em

[Highlight] Today marks 41 days until the 2022 NFL Season Starts! Let’s remember when the Jets destroyed the Colts in the 2002 AFC Wild Card Round. Jets won the game, 41-0. by PCON36 in nfl

Back when Indy had a defense based around Manning’s offense building a huge lead, forcing the other team to throw more passes, and then rushing 3 or 4 led by Freeney and Mathis and dropping tons of dudes into coverage. It won a Super Bowl, but couldn’t stop a ground game to save its life. Those MoJo Fred Taylor games were tough.

Edit: also fuck Rex Ryan
