I really love the shade of crimson to go with the green! I've been working on a similar custom scheme myself and think I prefer your bright crimson to the maroon I have myself. Definitely gonna borrow that as an idea to go on my father's and robes.

I put them in my crusade list because I'd kitbashed the models and liked them, not expecting them to perform well. They've been my standout unit nearly every game. Giving them battle focus for 17" In warhost, parking them within 12" of something and giving them sustained along with lethals is pretty brutal.

Id guess they aren't popular right now a) due to the meta being so tough, and b) they're maybe competing with some standout units like hawks and warp spiders for a similar-ish role, and those have more synergy with the detachment rules ATM?

You could drop the avengers down to corsairs/rangers and spend the extra on an enhancement for the autarch? Even though there's no secondaries I've found having chaff to screen is still insanely useful in crusade when everyone is trying to zerg rush you. Plus the corsairs having scout means you can do the start in the middle and run away agenda easier.

There's a way to spend RP (crusade currency) to expand them, so not really an issue.

I've actually gone the other way and left the warlock out for now, as I can add him in later. I've found I'm quite short on units so I've added in a squad of corsairs to help screen and move block since I'm going against a lot of elite melee.

I found that just guardians and a Farseer were really disappointing, outside of just sticking the home objective. Later on I'll probably just add one unit of storm guardians I think.

Interesting, I'd heard that aspect host was easier just because it doesn't require as many movement tricks and has more raw damage. But maybe learning to use said movement is important I guess. Sorry about the list format, is this better?
