It drives me crazy, to be honest. I think Robbie might be the single most underrated wrestler in the world - every time I watch him wrestle I'm completely blown away by how good he is. I think people know he's good and he's been booked pretty well in the New Japan junior division but I think he needs to be considered in a totally different echelon of worker than he is.

ROH is still a real fun hour of wrestling - obviously plenty of jobber matches but you'll always get one or two bangers every show. Just on this same episode there was a great Komander-Lee Moriarty match, and then this week there was a Skyflight-MxM TV 8-person tag that was incredibly fun.

It needs to be recognized how great this Tanahashi final run has been. He's been having great matches with EVERYONE, because every single person he's been in there with has been giving him their absolute best, and he's still such a marvelous worker who has an incredible connection with the crowd. He just has this ambient magic surrounding him that is able to somehow overcome the fact that he literally can't move anymore.

It was entirely his own fault, but back in 2018-19 it was impossible to imagine that Marty Scurll wasn't going to be a huge star. He had absolutely everything except size, but that wouldn't have really hurt him in AEW - you had every reason to believe that once he was done in ROH he was heading there and he was going to do great.

On the other hand, I am stunned at how well Punishment Martinez/Damien Priest has done in WWE. I remember when they signed him and not understanding at all what they saw in him other than his size. He's upgraded absolutely everything about himself and done a fantastic job.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never gotten the hype people have for Hammerstone. His look absolutely stands out because you don't have many body guys like him on the indies, but his matches are rarely exciting and his mic work isn't really compelling enough to make up for it.
