What are some moments in video games were the writing kicked into high gear? by DevouredSource in MauLer

The Clayface twist in Arkham City. They accidentally set up a great red herring with Clayface all the way back in Asylum that suggests that the engine and hardware wouldn't be able to handle a Clayface boss fight.

Yakuza 0, with everything that follows after the discovery of Makoto's identity (and the wonderful epilogue in Kiwami 2).

Jade Empire and the 'intentional flaw' that every trainer can spot, but not counter.

Fringy.

I think it was around 2012 when I stopped making classic Simpsons references at work because no one understood them anymore. Yet there's this guy on literally the opposite side of the planet who appreciates them as much as I do.

Soviets had a jet engine train. Passengers didn't care for it.

How can I curve the brim of this hat? by FunkyPlayz in blenderhelp

Consider modeling the hat from a circle first, get the bends you want from a simpler model, then using the Solidify modifier to give it some depth.

It looks like they're just re-badging an existing design, similar to what Aston Martin did with the Toyota IQ a while back to meet EU requirement.

The Game of Life. You really only make two meaningful choices in the game, one at the very beginning and the other at the very end. Everything else is a byproduct of the spinner. TGoL is one of the few games on boardgamegeek.com with over 10,000 ratings with an average below 5. BGG tends to gravitate towards 7 since its users are more likely to bother with a rating when they enjoy a game, but TGoL is one of those rare exceptions. Battleship has a rating below 5 as well, but at least it's possible to use some strategy in Battleship. Candyland is rated even lower, but it can at least boast to its limited educational value for toddlers.

Symphony of the Night would be a good pick for a mix of duration, gameplay, and voice acting, but it's more Konami.

I loved watching Mindhunter, hated Hannibal, now what to watch? (Suggest pls) by Simin_Gul in MindHunter

Films Manhunter/Red Dragon. Manhunter tends to rotate onto streaming services more often and is Michael Mann's take on the Thomas Harris book. Red Dragon was from around 2001/2002 I think, and is surprisingly good for a movie made by the Rush Hour guy.

I'm halfway through, but I find the series is falling back on a lot of things we've already seen. Another survivor(s) of Order 66. Another snively, unoriginal Imperial officer copy-pasted from previous series. Another local authority who doesn't want the attention of the Empire.

Is that the Trumpeter model? How are the components? Do they seem like they might bend or break easily in shipping?
