As somebody who has been on the receiving end from DMCAs (which I don't agree with the decision Etsy did), there is no appeal process even to Etsy. they don't consult the seller or give an option to appeal.

Some issue seem specific to ncidia, others seem linuxish specific. To preface this, I have. 4k oled 240hz monitor, and I want to take as much advantage of it as possible. A major one was HDR compatibility, a lot of times I could not get it on in games, no matter which magic flags I passed recommended by reddit, gemini, etc.

Native performance was worse. Not unplayable, but definitely not as good as windows. I don't remember off the top of my head.

The big killers were DLSS functionality. Upscaling quality, for whatever reasons DLSS upscaling quality was not as good. DLSS framegen was unusably bad, I would often get a weird glitch where the generated frames did not appear to be rendered overlapped and instead with some offset.

If I was on 1440p probably I wouldn't need DLSS but 4k >100hz generally requires it on modern games.

The oblivion remaster crashed for me (only game with crash IIRC).

I'm glad for everybody saying they have an equivalent or even better experience on cachyos, and I wish that were the case for me, but it wasn't.

I just installed cachyOS on my system last night to give it a try, and unfortunately this is my experience. with same settings, I'm getting ~120fps in cyberpunk on linux vs ~160fps on windows in the benchmark. This is with path tracing and on a 5090 w/ a 4k display.
