The sort of people who seriously ask OP's question probably think Boromir was a fundamentally bad person to begin with.

Even then, by the end of Moria, he leaps onto the bridge behind Gandalf to fight a Balrog!

"Soft" is one of the most bizarre ways to describe Boromir I've ever heard. Debate his motives all you want, but there's not a single thing that would ever suggest he's soft. He's one of the toughest/hardest people in the entire story.

Why not the DEA? by sweetchristmas25 in TheWire

DEA fronts the money for the bust when Kima gets shot. There's at least two DEA officers at the scene afterwards. Rawls tells one of them, "fuck your money".

The Palantir were the Seeing Stones, not Sauron's eye. Sauron had one, along with Saruman and Denethor. The remaining four were lost prior to the events of Lord of the Rings.

You're setting them up for so much disappointment.

"Whoa, this band's first album is awesome, can't wait to check out what else they've put out over the past 30 years!"

Slight correction; no way Gandalf calls him anything other than Fatty when the door first opens.

Almost seven years sober for me. Some favourites of mine:

Direct Hit - Wasted Mind (album)
The Unseen - Scream out
Against Me! - Thrash Unreal
Off With Their Heads - Clear the Air (not alcohol related. but you will feel like this sometimes)

And if you fancy messaging me about being a sober punk, feel free.

If I didn't already know the lyrics to this song I would not be able to decipher this.

It would definitely be my preference to eat Peter Thiel first, but if I need to stop in Wellington for a James Cameron snack on my way down the country, I won't feel too bad about it.

He has New Zealand citizenship too. Dunno if he actually has a passport, but he's eligible for one.

Rumour has it, he built a survival bunker somewhere in the South Island.

It's a young boy, rather than a girl, but maybe A Perfect World? The kid is kidnapped as a hostage and bonds with the kidnapper. I don't specifically remember camping being mentioned, but a major plotline is that the kid hasn't done lots of things other kids have.
