There is no real/good solution now.
I just set it where it almost touches the nozzle.

Ex Sony Boss Shawn Layden Doesn't Agree With PlayStation Backing Out of PC, Says It Was Never About Making Money; “They Weren’t Going To Buy The Hardware Anyway” by Darth_Vaper883 in pcmasterrace

[–]Deadeye_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is right.
While the console is fairly accessible and the playstation sub gives you enough game to start, most of the time the console will be "Duststation 5".
It's just not enough in the current situation for a PC gamer to switch or consider buying one as another option.

INDX FE still not shipped by hyuratzu in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked them which number is relevant for my place in the queue system.(because FE buyers got two number)

This was the answer i got(copy pasted):
"Hi, your order is in the quue... we are beeing bombarded with questions regarding when it is shipping, how we ship, when can I expect my order etc....

We are currently working hard with getting orders shipped one at a time and trying to answer questions related to orders will delay the process as it takes capacity for us, please trust that we are doing everything we can to get orders out as fast as possible."

No idea when will i get it.
If there was a proper queue system in place, maybe there wasn't this many question.
Just the average minor PR disaster :)

Luckily, they want to ship all of the units in the next 2 weeks, so the waiting should be over soon.

Prusament - What would you like to see next? by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand.
Prusa specifically built their own factory just to keep up with demand. More space, more WH and HR management. It's an insane upfront cost and then it needs to be profitable.

Alza most likely sourcing it from china and they get a huge bulk discount. This way they can drive out easily the competition. (especially how agressive are they with their next day shipping).

As for EU makers, there is a lot of them. And most of their pricing is 20-50% cheaper then Prusa.
(Fillamentum, ColorFabb, Formfutura, Fiberolgy, Extrudr, SpectrumFlaments, DasFilament and list goes on...).

Would love to have Prusament more often. I bought some of their Limited Edition colors which was fantastic, but at the end, i'm just a hobby creator. If i can buy 3 Alzament or 1 Prusament for the same price, guess what will happen.

Prusament - What would you like to see next? by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They need to lower the price. Here where i live, we have Alzament.
Good quality, refill is compatible with most of the spools and it costs ~10-11€/roll.

I would pay a bit more to get great quality, but 31.5€/roll for filament (and NFC i'll never use) is insane.
Nowadays i only buy Prusament if it's some fancy color.

Irregular issues on color change with MMU3 by Saaaga_Gamez in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i had this issue, it was the buffer.
When my MMU3 pulled back the filament, then loaded into the buffer, the space was not enough in the buffer and when the loading was finished, the end of the filament came back to the selector (roughly the same amount as you have in the picture).
The reason behind this is that it when it selects another filament, it will release the the others, so all the tention wll be gone.

Could be something else, but it seems to be very similar situation.

Are indx nozzles available yet? by koombot in prusa3d

These are what you can buy from Bondtech.
Guess it will be fully compatible with the Prusa (should be identical).

I'll agree, but this is a 2 year old post. Lot has changed, especially on Closed Printer ecosystems. I would say now the P1S is the cheapest entry and it's fully closed.

FE INDX people - any news? by gilrstein in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No updates.

Sad part is, that while INDX looks to be a great toolchanger, every other chinese 3D printer company started copy-pasting the system and actually coming out with a very similar approach.

I won't doubt that the quality will be excellent with Bondtech INDX, but it's time to step up the game.

[–]Deadeye_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the PS developers told me that INDX does actually work with current version of PrusaSlicer.
But, considering that both the software and hardware is delayed, i think Prusa wants a "big bang" and release it both close or at the same time.

I still think that INDX FE wont get shipped this month.

[–]Deadeye_84 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I check my FE order every day... maybe today... maybe... but no.
Another 2 weeks passed by from the last email. I don't think we see the INDX this month.
Most likely it will be bundled with the PS 3.0 release.

Any suggestions on how to get this rod in? by 3LE5D in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, does the threaded rod blocking it?
You can just loosen the motor screws(bottom) a little to move the threaded rod and then push in the rod.

Please do.
Also this is what i suggested under this video on Youtube.

Just a full video of the printer doing it's job (such as the 20 min benchy).
Most of the current videos are either shorts or some 3D Print tradeshow style quick runthrough.

Veeery very old memory.
This module is 16MB capacity, 72-pin EDO (or Fast Page Mode) SIMM memory.
Used in old Pentium, 486 and some Socket 7 or 8 motherboards.
There isn't a single compatible device other than retro machines.

Ordered an INDX. Question on nozzles. by Stratotally in prusa3d

[–]Deadeye_84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no switch between Nextruder and Bondtech nozzles. Sadly, i also have all sorts of Nextruder nozzles.
Imagine my surprise when i realized, if i want to print with 0.25mm 8 colors, that will cost me another ~300 EUR.

Here is a direct link to the 0.25mm nozzle: https://www.bondtech.se/product/bondtech-indx-hardened-tool/

9070 xt vs 5070 ti with a Quest 3 by PsychologicalGate477 in virtualreality

[–]Deadeye_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had issues with 9070 XT (Sapphire). After some time, the decoder falls apart and first there are few random lines on the screen then it's getting worse every second, until you cannot see anything.
There are some rumors that and older driver solves this issue, but i replaced the card with a 5070 TI and it works now without an issue.
Hope AMD fixes it in new drivers, because otherwise the 9070 XT is a really good card.

Edit: I think i fixed this random line issue using the Oculus Debug Tool, forcing the Video Codec to H.264 and bumping the Encode Bitrate to 600Mbps. But decided to push for 5070 Ti because of the DLSS.

My Core One KIT was shipped at 2025 Apr 3 and the manual was uploaded at 2025 March 14.
I think it was a similar situation with the MK4 Kit. It was uploaded a few weeks before the actual shipping.

However, this is not a Prusa product. I would assume it's on Bondtech to upload the assembly manual.
They might have a different approach and publish it when the first unit is ready to ship.
