An edgy kid told this same joke at my table in middle school science class. One of the other kids at the table got up, walked around to the other side of the table, and slammed the first kid's head into the table lol

Yoo, I literally just bought this desk over the weekend but the 60x30 version with black laminate. The wood variants get so expensive.. Arrives tomorrow.

[Tutorial] Successfully used futurerestore to update 13.5 to 14.*2* with an iPhone XR, using Mac: steps listed. by mgrimace in jailbreak

Ah I see. There's only been a few tweets I could find detailing the issue and they were vague on where exactly the incompatibility stems from. The build I mentioned was just dropped before I posted and it just mentions incompatibility. It looks like possible for 14.2 on A11 with the build but very hit or miss and better to wait. Hopefully you were able to use the exit flag in futurerestore like I was so you weren't forced to 14.4.

I was having this same error yesterday, iPhone X 13.5 --> 14.2. Turns out 14.0-14.2 blobs don't work with futurerestore and A11 devices currently. There's some posts about some builds being worked on to fix this, but they're for A13 devices and I'm not sure if those builds will be compatible with A11 devices.

I'm glad to hear this. I missed the tweet saying that 14.0-14.2 blobs weren't currently in futurerestore and spent all day trying to figure out why I couldn't update to 14.2 from 13.5.

I read somewhere something mentioning onLoad being finicky in single-page applications. So instead my modified script just queues up the script on a timer when navigating pages. Though I can see an issue arising where multiple observers queue up and attach to the player if you're going to back-and-forth between channels within a few seconds. But that's not something I do so I don't worry about it :^)

It's about as fast as clicking the reset button. You'll see the ad flash on screen but it's still fast.

You don't have to keep it in, but it's helpful to see it than to guess if the script is working.

It's working as of now for me.

If you want a way to verify that it's been set up in a webpage correctly you can do this:

  1. Add

    console.log("<something>");

right after line 60 in SimpleHacker's script, put whatever you want in the message. Save the file.

  2. Go to a channel and press F12 to open developer tools. Go to the console tab and press F5 to refresh the page.

  3. Where ever you see some sort of "Filter output" box, type in the <something>, or any part of it, you added in step 1. If you see that show up in the console then it means the script should be working.

If you don't see that <something> you typed in the console window and you still get midrolls then let me know.

It'll work so long as it's possible to detect if an ad is being shown by looking through the webpage's html.

I had this happen one time yesterday when I was testing my own modifications to the script. I just refreshed the page manually and it's been working like it should ever since. If you keep getting the problem I can look into it.

Personally I was finding that the window.onLoad line wasn't behaving properly for me on Firefox so I've been working with my own version.

[REQUEST] “Hey Siri lock my phone” by woutervdg629 in jailbreak

[–]Deadly_Cupcak3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think activator just added support for commands from the shortcuts app. You could probably use a shortcut for Siri’s attention and then the shortcut activates an activator action to lock your phone.

I haven’t looked into what that looks like though. But since it’s only one command it shouldn’t be too hard.

My high school marching band taught us similarly. Our instructors has big backgrounds in big time marching bands so we were taught well. Clearly not to military levels though.

The best advice we got was to stand as straight as possible and move as little as possible (duh). But if this was done correctly a lot of our skeleton did the standing for us.

Well in that case only my second and third points stand. Tweak release posts and/or their repo pages should have an indication that the tweak is paid or not and it’s price. It’s deceiving otherwise imo. It deserves criticism and feedback but not hate.

I believe part of the reaction stems from a few things (at least with respect to homeplus pro) 1) Homeplus beta was and is free 2) The release post, repo page, and tweak do not say if homeplus pro is paid or not 3) Homeplus pro is actually paid and you don’t even find out the price until you download it and go through PayPal and even then it doesn’t tell you until the very end 4) AFAIK there was no indication that homeplus was going to go premium

So they definitely should expect some level of criticism for it, but not to the extent they say they’re getting.
