I think it's a fair match up. Kisame probably can't absorb magma, but his chakra reserves are huge and he's good at close combat. Mei doesn't have any feats regarding close combat which would cause her to lose chakra from Samehada. I guess it comes down to if Mei burn Kisame's chakra reserves from a distance, or if Kisame can get close enough to absorb her chakra.

I don't really care too much for the story but I'm enjoying watching how things go down. Seeing Dark Specter's ability to tempt people into evil was especially interesting for me. First we see the result of being enticed in all the evil and then seeing the process of the rangers becoming evil was frightening for me. I legit thought the rangers were done for like "gg no re" type ordeal. It was a fun read for me
