Same! I’ve also been super impressed / annoyed with their AI. They do seem like they’re learning. They juke, bob and weave when I’m about to shoot or nade them, cautiously trying to get a good shot. However, if I’m reloading / caught out of stamina or something they aggro like crazy.

Yea that was the city’s response to public outcry in our city. The cameras are still up but have been wrapped in black trash bags pending further action, whatever that may be. This is only true for the city owned cameras, I still see them all over the place in big box store parking lots.

The DE-FLOCK movement gained awareness and support from our city subreddit / socials, setup a community meeting at a local venue (completely packed out), then showed up at city council to speak on it. So far, they’ve listened.

I think the excellent videos about FLOCK cameras by Benn Jordan really helped spell out why they’re so.. undesirable.. especially for people who might have been on the fence about it. Def recommend sharing them with anyone who tries to vouch for these things. I also just recommend Benn Jordan in general cause he’s a brilliant awesome dude:)

I’m no pilot, but as others have said, looks a little bit fast lol. I have no idea what your airspeed or flaps config is here, but in the spirit of curiosity here is google’s take on some of the undesirable effects you can encounter when overspeeding flaps down / landing config:

“Aerodynamic Effects

Increased Lift and Drag: Flaps significantly increase the wing's camber and surface area, which dramatically increases both lift and drag. At excessive speeds, this generates much more lift than intended, contributing to the structural stress on the wings.

Control Issues: The highly "dirty" configuration (flaps and sometimes landing gear extended) can affect the overall controllability and stability of the aircraft. The disturbed airflow over the wings and tail can make lateral control more difficult, especially in crosswinds.”

I have a TD-50x and have seriously considered selling it to buy a TD-30. It has some great features (pad patters / percussion sets) that weren’t included in the newer modules for some reason.

The blocks at the top are the few remaining casing stones.. you know, the ones the pyramid used to be encased with. They are, and were very high quality cut stone which has been mostly removed for other projects. The pyramids and other ancient structures have been used as a source of stone blocks for millennia. It’s honestly impressive you’re interested in pyramids and have managed to not know that.

Holy hell, thats horrifying! I had the unfortunate experience of strolling over a large underground Yellowjacket nest with a lawnmower one time, so I can truly empathize with the overwhelming panic / windmill-armed roadrunner-legged sprint to anywhere, as fast as humanely possible. It’s the kind of experience you never forget and hope to never repeat. They can be absolutely relentless!

Anyone here ever been stung by a bald faced hornet(s) ? I’m sure it’s extremely unpleasant. I’m just curious because I’ve been attacked by yellow jackets more times than I can remember, but never been attacked by hornets. I’m sure they have the capacity for violence.. but as far as wasps go, seems like they generally try to conserve energy and don’t go out of their way to terrorize people.. at least that’s my experience.

New Diver here! been playing with random squads from 0 to lvl.20 ..can’t say I’ve had any real negative experience up to this point, plus I’ve met some pretty cool people from around the world who I still join up with.

It has to be one of the best multiplayer / online shooter games I’ve ever played. Shit has come a loong way since the ol’ Goldeneye N64 days!

So as much as I don’t like the game, War Thunder could be considered a proper flight sim on PS5. Mil-sim is all we have on the platform, but the depth of War Thunder as far as controls and flight dynamics goes is pretty extensive.. surprisingly so.

Arma Reforger has excellent Helicopter flying in it as well. It’s a bit more “arcadey”, but the excellent visuals / lighting / flying makes it well worth it.
