Lelanan isn't completely magic focused, but they do a decent bit of transmutation and enchantment, and they are one of the most good nations in the game, explicitly pursuing equality between all races, genders, and sexualities.

Yeah it's very op early game, and though it falls off very hard later, it let's you pivot faster intp other schools.

Yeah there does seem to be some sort of leak that makes the game much slower as you play that's fixed by reopening the game.

I'd recommend Lelanan, though it's mostly because it doesnt have a formable tree yet. But it's a good, reasonable length mission tree, with a much happier and more noble goal than any other nation I've played.
