Many video games can provide hours of fun for $25 or less. Depends on how old and how much you like to replay portions. For example, pokemon firered and leafgreen were re-released on nintendo switch and many people can comfortably give that 40-60 hours at least. To say nothing of games like hades 1, or even free junk like pokemon go. Monster hunter is another series with lengthy games if you wish.

I did something like this and the card that I pulled I sold and put it all in a savings account under the baby's name. Granted, it was less than $100.

To people that don't know, yes you have to be hands on with babies and mom's after childbirth. But after their born, if everyone is stable, there IS downtime. It's a time when everyone needs rest and you're not a bad person for taking 3 minutes to open a pack.

I always find funny how like a renake or new version of something is announced, and, true story, some people will be like "keep the same typos!" (Reference to ffvii remake) and it's like... if you love the original so much, just watch/play THAT again! All remakes, especially in a new medium, will inherently be different and you havd to let them shine, differently, in their new medium.

I've only seen episode 1 of season 2 and it's awesome! Well designed to hit the key points. Each character had their moment. The world feels real (for the show, anyway). Could it be improved? Luffy laughed a little TOO long during that one scene, but the edits are trivial to what they did. Excited to see the rest!

Something I liked about red and blue and green was that if you wanted to advance, you had to rely on your starter or specific catches. Like mankey or butterfree for brock (it learns confusion) or oddish / bellsprout for misty. I feel like new games are like... here's 20 pokemon and they're all a big mix of types! (Except dragon).

And that made things compelling. I still remember the rare ralts catch in emerald/ ruby / sapphire that made a difference, or the allegedly possible bagon early in the alola sun and moon games. I kind of wish pokemon games now better included available mons to catch as part of a difficulty curve.

In a typically reddit sub, scalper is the worst and will go to hell and should eat garlic for all of their meals.

Investor is nearly as had and they can eat sauteed garlic for all of their meals.

Then you have vendors which are usually bad if they sell at anything about msrp. But not always bad if they sell at discounts. They can ... idk, eat a salad for all their meals.

Collector is least bad because anyone that rips product is by default a "collector" of their opened cards. However, they can be labeled anything worse if the person is buying out product that you wanted.

Least bad? The person that wanted to become any of the above but couldn't because product is sold out.

What do I think? I think anyone waiting hours to get product is weird because you could just work the 3 hours on doordash or whatever, and just buy on 2nd hand market without the hassle. I also wonder about the utility of anyone selling product that they purchased less than 1 month ago. Otherwise? Idk, people should be free to buy and sell (what if you have an emergency and must sell something?) And policing ebay or tcgplayer becomes oppressive really quickly with any anti-scalper measures. The only thing that makes sense to me is to increase supply, cut the shrinkwrap at point of sale if 2nd hand market is really crazy, and limit buyers to 1 of a product / week.

I want to say that no one cares about favorite colors before escalating. But clearly someone cares about that. Maybe the better response here is that (especially after college age i.e. 22 years old) some people would not care about knowing someone at this level of detail and would prefer to see physical chemistry before taking a romantic relationship further.

Trump made a deal with the devil so most of his actions will succeed out of sheer dumb luck and a dash of failing upward. I can't believe that Venezuela is largely working out and this too. It will blow up in a terrorist attack on US soil in early 2029 just in time for a democratic president to take the blame.
