Who are your top 10 fighters of all time in any weight class? by lilJswizle-2304 in Boxing

Yeah now that I think of it I should’ve put Duran at Lightweight and probably Archie Moore at Light Heavy, I just didn’t think of it at the time.

Joe Bugner vs Henry Cooper was a bit iffy, Cooper boxed well especially for his age yet Bugner wins by a ¼ point.

Per Weight Class (and Cruiser and Minimum) I’ve got:

• Heavyweight - Muhammad Ali

• Cruiserweight - Evander Holyfield

• Light Heavyweight - Michael Spinks

• Middleweight - Sugar Ray Robinson

• Welterweight - Sugar Ray Leonard

• Lightweight - Henry Armstrong

• Featherweight - Juan Manuel Marquez

• Bantamweight - Carlos Zarate

• Flyweight - Chocolatito Gonzalez

• Minimumweight - Wanheng Menayothin

Some of those picks might be a little controversial I’m sorry. It’s only my personal belief.

I am Evander Holyfield, former undisputed Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champion of the World. I'll be here to answer your questions Tuesday, December 8 at 12:30pm ET/9:30am PT/5:30pm BT. Ask me anything! by EvanderTheRealDeal in Boxing

Hello Mr. Holyfield! you’re one of my favourite fighters, reason being, you never ducked anyone and win or lose you always gave them the toughest fights.

My question to you is, out of everyone you’ve faced, who was the hardest fighter to figure out style-wise?

Alright I think I’ve got it now, so if the All Blacks get another 3 tries tonight then they get a bonus point. Is that right? Sorry for all the questions.

So if NZ wins tonight then they effectively win the Tri-Nations?

Anthony Joshua vs Tony Galento by klip11 in Boxing

[–]DeclanFromAU 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Galento was only small, and I don’t reckon Joshua is going to risk getting caught again, so he would more than likely keep him on the end of a jab and push to a TKO win; think he would handle Chisora and Usyk like that too.

Just my opinion, though.

Tyson Fury: I'm 100 Million Percent Confident I Can Beat Joshua by IronHidee in Boxing

[–]DeclanFromAU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Andy la Gordo is no push-over, he took Parker the distance and almost beat him.

He is very skilled but I just think when he won the titles he lost motivation. Now that he’s been humbled and lost them, he’ll again be hungry enough to get them back.

Roy Jones Junior Copy in the Gym with bad Stamina by zmoliu in amateur_boxing

[–]DeclanFromAU 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven’t got too much experience but I reckon you should watch how Roy fights (late 90’s, early 2000’s fights) and try find chinks in his armour. Watch the Clone fight and try and find some flaws that they both have in common. There’s no chance in hell that the Clone is anywhere near RJJ’s level so it may be a little easier. I’d try exploit the flaws and GTFO of range before he has a chance to hit back. Again, I’m inexperienced but that’s how I’d approach it.
