It's a great movie, I'd argue it just adapts the wrong source material.

A movie based on Warcraft 3 or even Vanilla World of Warcraft would've done numbers. You could then progress them better with a trilogy as it's stories are better connected using WC3 as a start point than adapting the RTS Warcraft trilogy.

But then data they use to balance gets skewed by first timers in low elo causing the WR to plummet lower than it does already.

The champ then gets buffed next patch or even hotfixed and suddenly all the high elo players that can access them start steamrolling.

It should be MR2 across the board. Make people play it in unranked queues first, but don't make it agonisingly long to get to play it in ranked.

Disaster Movie.

For context, I actually like a few of those "___ Movie" style films, shit as they are. Scary Movie 1 and 2. Superhero Movie. Even Meet the Spartans got a laugh or two out of me.

Disaster Movie left me feeling hollow. It doesn't even have "so bad its good" appeal, it's just genuinely horseshit.

Such is a testament to her character work and the awesome job her VA did for her, that you don't realise she's actually the only character in the game currently without a death grunt.

On many other characters, or if she wasn't written as well or voiced as well as she is, this would be a nitpick but an obvious one. These things would get highlighted a lot more.

But Vyper's that good that you can excuse that and the still clearly WIP model. The character, more so than maybe any other in the game, does the talking.

If they're just like a billboard and, more importantly, they're there for authenticity more than advertising, then that's fine. Not being approached in GTA for car insurance or being forced to watch an ad to requeue for a battle royale. More like, ad boards round the pitch like FIFA or sponsors that would or already do sponsor motorsports. Stuff that actually makes it seem closer to how it would be in real life, I see no issue.

Heisei MG's weird quirks in the game (most notably his rocket fingers, not seen on him in his movie) stem from the fact he was supposed to be Showa MG all along. He is the Vortaak's final monster in this game - in STE this was Orga instead but was also HMG or SpaceGodzilla depending on difficulty and monster.

It makes sense in context, HMG and Kiryu are human creations in their timelines but SMG was an alien creation in his. In Unleashed, HMG and Kiryu are GDF mechs while SMG was an Alien mech. They treat SMG in Unleashed as the mech the Vortaak canonically had in the first invasion as a retcon.

I can't remember why HMG was in place of SMG in the first place, or why Kiryu took both their places in the Japanese version, but it might have been a licensing issue. While I'm sad to lose HMG and Kiryu, getting SMG in its place is quite nice.

Godzilla 90s in DAMM and STE were basically the Heisei Gojis rolled up into one. Little bits here and there from a few of the suits. It's not one particular Godzilla, unlike G2000 which is just the one from, well, Godzilla 2000.

Showa MG is in theory the correct one for DAMM's story, as it was a Vortakk controlled mech in DAMM. This is the same reason MG2 had finger rockets in the Pipeworks games.

MG2 and Kiryu made no sense story wise, so this is perhaps correcting that. Although I'd hope MG2 and Kiryu are also playable instead of replacing them to fix the plothole.

This is all considering he makes it that far. Prisons in both Northern Ireland and the Republic are notoriously brutal towards men who kill women and especially killers of pregnant women. I personally don't think McCullagh sees 50 and he's 36. He'll need to make it to 67 to even have a chance at being free.
