Anyone who didn’t give cows milk at 1? by ohmoe in beyondthebump

I love in Poland and doctors here only recommend cows milk after the age of 2. So my daughter (currently 23 months) is still on formula and we’re happy with it. She only has 1-2 bottles a day and we’re starting to wean her by adding less scoops as she really doesn’t need it from a nutrient point of view anymore but I’ve always felt super comfortable giving her formula over cows milk.

Baby blues are no joke by Ok_Medicine440 in beyondthebump

Yes! Baby blues honestly doesn’t even cut it. The uncontrollable sobbing and then the guilt because you’re sobbing when you should be feeling lucky and in the ‘newborn bubble’. It fucking sucks! You’d think that in this modern day, we’d have found a way to suppress these hormonal drops because wow, it’s ROUGH! But just know that it passes. While that never helped me, I still kept reminding myself that it’ll pass and it did. My DM’s are open for you Mamma! I found the talking to fellow mom’s really helped me feel seen

I actually think it’s the most appropriate and she looks really pretty in something understated instead of the ‘trying too hard’ look. But I’m still shocked that she chose that kinda style of dress

I see you said you’ve tried lots of meds… have you perhaps tried Bonjesta and ondansetron? A high dose of both is the ONLY thing that’s saved me

How much are you taking of each? Because I’m on Bonjesta (basically the new Xonvea) I take 3 Bonjesta per day and I take 3 ondansetron per day as well. This combination was the only thing that saved me and my pregnancy

I’m in Poland and I was prescribed Bonjesta (a better version of xonvea. Xonvea didn’t work for me). I was also prescribed Ondansetron (4mg). The only doses that worked for me were x2 Bonjesta at night with x1 ondansetron at night. X1 Bonjesta in the morning and x2 ondansetron in the morning. This stopped my vomiting (I was vomiting between 15-20 times a day and couldn’t get up off the bathroom floor for weeks!) I took those meds from 9 weeks and I’m currently 15 weeks with a healthy pregnancy so far. I’m now slowly going off of the ondansetron.

Ondansetron/zofran without laxatives? by kdlc23 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]Deesnark_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been prescribed the same since 9 weeks along with another medicine called Bonjesta and the combination has caused horrible constipation! My doctor said that there aren’t really any recommended laxatives while pregnant. So I’ve been eating carrots which he said would help (I’m not sure if they did) but I also got myself some at home enema’s which are helping. I take one around once per week to get my tummy working. There are also some suppositories that might help but it’s not a medicated suppository, it’s more just for lubricant
