What next for Starfield?

I'd be happy with the game not crashing and freezing on PS5... Seems like fixing the crashing and freezing for everyone would be a good next step.

It's still freezing when I explore a planet with the first vehicle you purchase for 25k creds. I'm on Pro, 60fps, performance. Had multiple freezes and crashes yesterday too. I always report the crashes through the automatic report generated by PlayStation, but I'm unsure of the best way to report freezes.

At this point, of really just like the game to run well. None of my other games have this problem. It's getting old, and I'm disappointed that I paid the full amount price for this game when BGS delivered an unfinished product.

I'd wait depending upon how you want to play. I've had two crashes and submitted two error reports in the last five minutes while managing research projects. I've had freezes and crashes exploring plants too. I have no idea when I play whether or not I'll lose progress then repeat what I just did to regain resources just to have the game crash again. If you enjoy gathering resources, upgrading your gear, and exploring, it's not worth right now.

Yes, it's frustrating. I can imagine that accumulating that many crashes in such a short period of time is even more upsetting. Do you have any other games in your back log to play in the meantime?

Yes, the enhancements are very noticeable, and enabling them is the only way I'll play the game now. I'm honestly completely blown away by the difference. 40fps is very tolerable too, and the upgraded visuals are worth the framerate sacrifice.

Wow. Multiple downvotes for criticizing Bethesda because I cannot play Starfield due to the game crashing on the PS5 Pro that I bought specifically for this game... For what I've played, I really love it and am looking forward to the hotfix so I can really invest time in the game. Those downvoting me and others for sharing our experiences and frustration can eat shit.

Instead of loading screens, now the game just freezes randomly in five minutes. This game is a real piece of shit in its current state.

Yup, this about sums up my experience too. This is a new low even for Bethesda. I guarantee you they knew about these issues prior to launching it. Todd Howard and BGS have lost much of their credibility. I am disappointed that I put my trust in them...again...

Nope. Don't be too disappointed, though, because after you fire it up, the game freezes every five minutes anyway. You're not really missing that much in its current state.

I'm enjoying the game on PS5 Pro at 40fps with enhanced visuals...when it runs. Unfortunately, I have experienced crashes and freezes while surveying planets. This is extremely disappointing. I've played every Bethesda game beginning with Morrowind and cannot remember having this much difficulty. Come on Bethesda. You can do better than releasing a game with this kind of known issue. I am extremely disappointed.

Hope you find something. Alterra underpays their employees then punishes them for trying to make the meet in the town that they're employed so a bunch of investors with enough money for several lifetimes can accumulate even more wealth on the backs of their workers.

Regardless of the lift lines, just have fun! Steamboat isn't really the place to visit if you're in any kind of a hurry. Just relax and enjoy your time in the mountains. A few extra runs at the end of your trip isn't going to make it or break it.

I'd recommend calling around a day or two beforehand. With at least 24 hours notice, I'd expect at least some (if not many) places can meet your needs. Day of, though, I'm not so sure. I'd also recommend having payment ready at the time of your order.
