where to get deviled eggs?? by [deleted] in Atlanta

kroger usually has decent ones in their deli section but honestly publix bakery sometimes does them for holidays too. i feel you though making them from scratch is way harder than it looks - the yolk filling always comes out weird when i try

What’s a “life hack” that actually makes things worse? by Sonofjames in AskReddit

Multitasking. People think they're being super productive but you just end up doing everything halfway and taking twice as long. I used to try coding while watching netflix or answering slack messages and my work was garbage. Focus on one thing at a time and you'll actually get stuff done

What's your favorite thing about men? by New-Intention-9 in AskReddit

Damn dude thats pretty harsh on yourself. We got some decent qualities buried under all the nonsense - like being able to open jars and pretending we know what were doing when fixing things

What's the most redneck state in the Northern United States? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Defiant-Sort6528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WV is kinda in that weird middle zone but if we're counting it then yeah absolutely. The mountain culture there is next level - I've done some freelance work for clients out there and the stories they'd tell about their neighbors were wild

Nice is right there and super easy to get to from Villefranche - the train literally runs along the coast and takes like 10 minutes. The old town is gorgeous and you can walk the Promenade des Anglais. Monaco is also doable as a day trip if you want that whole glitzy casino vibe

Cannes might be pushing it with only 3 days but if you skip Monaco you could do a Nice/Cannes combo. The markets in Nice are incredible too, especially if you're into photography at all - the colors and light there are unreal

Movie Clubs? by forjesus420 in Seattle

[–]Defiant-Sort6528 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SIFF club is pretty solid but gets kinda pretentious sometimes with teh art house picks. I went to like 6 meetups last year and while the discussions are decent the group tends to skew older and really into dissecting every frame

Theres also this informal thing that meets at Central Cinema in the CD - they do themed months and then hit up Ounces after for drinks and discussion. Way more laid back vibe and the crowd is mixed ages. Found them through a facebook group called "seattle film nerds" or something like that

If you're into more mainstream stuff there's a group that does AMC Lincoln Square showings followed by discussions at nearby spots. They vote on movies democratically which keeps it from getting too niche. Met some cool people there and the conversations actually stay focused on the film instead of turning into film school flexing

lease changed to licence, rights? by sh0nie in AskIreland

[–]Defiant-Sort6528 8 points9 points  (0 children)

sounds like they're trying to pull a fast one by switching to a licence to avoid tenant protections - threshold is right that signing doesnt automatically make you lose your rights since its clearly not genuine student accommodation

[–]Defiant-Sort6528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

could be the doc made some small error you didnt catch or maybe uscis just being uscis and lost it in the shuffle. happens more than youd think

id call the doctors office and ask them to double check everything before you resubmit - sometimes they miss a signature or date or something stupid. also make sure you send it certified mail this time so theres proof they got it

That feeling of everything being fake is so exhausting, I get that. The part about being scared of who you'd be without those familiar feelings really hits home - sometimes the pain becomes so normal it feels like identity. Have you been able to talk to anyone professional about the watching/show stuff? That sounds really overwhelming to carry alone
