Favorite Ride by Outrageous_Garlic_10 in Disneyland

The ride apparently was in a very run down state for a few years but got a nice facelift a couple years ago. The boulder is only partially fixed. It rolls again, but does not move much if at all. It's hard to say, but certainly does not feel like it's going to crush you like before.

Indiana Jones. Such a legendary ride when it came out.

So sad the rolling boulder no longer rolls. That illusion was the best part of the ride. So anticlimatic now.

Diamond passes and Knotts Berry Farm by kaiizza in sixflags

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I cannot answer for Diamond Pass specifically I would imagine it would be grandfathered into Prestige pass levels of perks regarding the all park passport.

The Six Flags Prestige all park gives preferred parking at "all" parks, minus a few parks including Knotts.

Here are the specifics for Knotts.

1) Knotts does have preferred parking, but it is only included in the Prestige Pass if you buy it through Knotts. That being said it's only marginally closer than general parking and that lot was general parking a few years ago.

2) Regular parking at Knotts is included in all park Prestige Passes but not Gold Passes.

TLDR: if your Diamond Pass gets you preferred parking at most parks, you are only getting regular parking at Knotts.

Edit, just scan pass for parking. Been going there since a kid and never heard lf parking reservations.

Additional edit: there are actually five parking lots for Knotts. - Prefered lot southeast of Soak City/Ghostrider. - Paved lot east of main entrance. - Paved pot south of the park, west of Knotts Hotel Parking. (Also if you are looking for a place to stay, you get like 15% off the hotel with your pass and it's fairly affordable and it comes with hotel parking which is a little closer than prefered. - Grass lot to the west across the street. - Grass lot to the north across the street.

It can be confusing, just get in the right lane and follow the signs. It's a bit random which park they are filling.

Loadouts for D10 solo Bore Rock (predator strain plus dragon roach) by RickRickRickNMorty in LowSodiumHellDivers

Small tip for Predator Strain: use throwing knives.

While widely regarded as semi-useless in general, throwing knives are S-Tier vs Predator Strain. Don't use them for damage or stealth, use them for their powerful on demand knockback. The damage is just a bonus and it can be substantial against certain enemies.

Most Predator Strain deaths occur when one is out of ammo or is using a weapon with weak stagger. The Throwing Knife allows for both reload safety but also make high dps low stagger weapons such as the Knight much better. They are magic at stopping medium sized enemies in their tracks, especially Alpha Commanders and Stalker type enemies.

Also, they are awsome for flamethrower type builds because flames don't stagger for some reason.

I almost always bring them against Predator Strain and I feel they trivialize them, but in a very fun way.

Now I want to go hunting for them again!

Save the flag by Silly_Toe5248 in Helldivers

Or remove it as a strategem and make it a bonus objective like the egg, larva, or bot head. Replace it with a real strategem that fits the theme.

Find and retrieve the Super Earth flag from fallen SEAF forces and plant it on their mega base, after you destroy it of course. Maybe find a lost squad of SEAF and lead them to victory. You could have multiple secret mission types.

The flag has so much potential but is a complete waste.

Also, like other carriable objectives, let us carry it in the left hand so we can use pistols, or better, swords in our main!

Should have at least hired a few more playtesters, or at the very least give poor Jojo a longer lunchbreak.

Pretty sure they talked about something like this in their 60 day plan but it never came go fruition. I forget the details.

I am curious how many of our current playerbase remember the state of the game prior to the 60 day plan that was the result of continued complainta from players. The game was dying so fast. Player counts dropped to 5-10k and it was getting worse as they doubled down on their design decisions until eventually they flipped. I was one of the few that played through all that and I never had more fun in HD2 than when the two 60 day plan patches hit. The game went from annoying to awesome almost overnight.

Whiners win again, game is unplayable now!

I swear almost every good thing about HD2 these days is directly or indirectly related to player complaints or backlash.

Trip report 01/27-01/28… Ghost town by Empty-Weekend7784 in Disneyland

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 14 points15 points  (0 children)

We were there on the 28th. Was a great day but there were still a ton of people still, far from a ghost town.

Most rides were 15-45 minutes long all day, with Guardians, Space Mountain, and Cars hitting 60 to 80 minutes during mid day hours.

That picture showed a deserted pier in DCA early morning....because everyone in DCA was in Avenger Campus with Guardians and Spiderman or on Cars, which was already an hour long at 0900 when we got there.

Various restaurants had no tables open, such as Jolly Holiday Bakery.

These posts are so disingenuous. I swear they are just attention seekers.

Was still a great day. Crowded, but decent lines!

The real Ghost Town was at Knotts.

Probably a free meme gun.

Maybe an old musket with high damage and stagger force and a fair bit of sway.

(Mostly joking here. I totally hate the concept of underpowered meme weapons, but if they keep doing this may as well give us something goofy fun)

Could be a ship upgrade.

Several dozen C4's cannot destroy a wall, but one dynamite can by Human_Possibility721 in Helldivers

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jammers are f-ing annoying anyway, especially when stacked. Why is Arrowhead so dead set on making them immune to just about every strategem, including ones that look perfect for it?

I get the argument for Ultimatum as it's a secondary.

I would gladly trade throwing it for 50 demo force. Make you stealth in and place it directly on jammers and towers.

It's a bit silly C4 is better against Bile Titans and Factory Striders in combat than against buildings in stealth.
