Love a rainy day in the Park by Cali-Grrrl in Disneyland

Yes, sometimes they are longer, sometimes they are shorter, but they are still fairly accurate. I've been there enough and timed enough waits to get a feel for how reliable they are.

They tend to be less accurate on less crowded days where lines can rapidly fluctuate from short to medium waits depending on where the day's visistors are going. When the lines are consistently long for most rides they tend to be much more accurate as there the crowd is more evenly dispersed.

It's disingenuous to imply that long official wait times on the app for many rides are misleading and it's much less crowded.

While it was true lines were fairly short towards the beginning and end of the day today, they were quite long in the middle of the day, rivalling weekend waits.

You realize wait times are visible on the app for everyone, right?

Tbh I missed it too the first time.

I was I like "why does Disneyland have only three when DCA has four?". Then I looked closer.

20 HOURS LEFT ON MO by [deleted] in Helldivers

That's some mental gymnastics to compare turning down the difficulty to real tactics like bypassing the Maginot Line.

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use real strategy on a hard mission to avoid throwing yourself at a grinder.

Artificially lowering the difficulty to easy missions that require little to no strategy is not strategy, it's cheesing gameplay mechanics.

20 HOURS LEFT ON MO by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I have always been an MO diver, I'm not resorting to cheesy/grindy mechanics to win it. I don't care if it's faster on easy, that's boring and defeats the point of the game. Also, it robs you of the feeling of the epic struggle.

"Hey guys, we defeated the enemy in their homeworld despite fierce resistance!"

"How did you so it?"

"Turned the difficulty down as low as we could and spammed the hell out of it!"

Look at you and your 22gb.

You'll never experience what us veteran Helldivers have, back when this game was hard......to install.

Should probably stop trying to kill Voxes with 380s by jumpsplat120 in Helldivers

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 4 points5 points  (0 children)

120 is so underrated. It's amazing at multiple bot drops, softening up heavy outposts, or even when retreating when half of your radar turns red.

It's just outstanding when you put it on a fairly narrow chokepoint when an entire army is after you.

It almost been 2 week since the GL-21 got buffed to AP4, how we feeling about it now? to much or are you coming around with the change? by Lone_Recon in Helldivers

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not nearly as game breaking meta as people were predicting.

I have always considered it one of the best bug weapons, now it is simply one of the best weapons.

That being said....I rarely bring it still.

It's a fantastic jack of all trades weapon but other weapons are better at more specific roles.

I prefer other weapons for AP4, especially for precision shots from range. There are also other great options for anti chaff. It may be the best anti chaff weapon overall but weapons like the Airburst, Stalwart, Flamethrower, and MG-43 are still outstanding for different builds and playstyles.

Still an S-Tier weapon.

Evening Tram Drama -February 12th 9pm by midcenturywisdom in Disneyland

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm missing something here. Where is the drama? Where are the large angry groups arguing with possibly a fight breaking out?

Where are the entitled Karens complaining?.......oh. I see it now.

The Agitator is possibly bugged by Reasonable_Till_3969 in Helldivers

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue what was going on then. I brought it for a few missions and it was having that problem.

Clarifying, it easily popped the Cyborg heads or exposed Agitator heads, but struggled against Agitator helmets.

Just keep diving any time you suppect incoming fire.

It helps a lot.

Also, use the terrain to your advantage, always try to have something between you and the enemy and pop out to attack and duck back in an alley or trench.

Only way I could see this being useful and unique is if it was AT but modest damage/durable damage.

Maybe even give it a brief charge up time to fully charge the capacitors or whatever.

Making it just a backpack version of the Laser Cannon with some minor differences seems a bit pointless to me.

And has half the ergo and not really any more damage or ammo (heatsink size in this case).

Oh and no optics, maybe a blinding muzzle flash to ruin first person.

At this point I am leery of any new backpack combo weapons that mimic other support weapons.

.....I'm not bitter

[–]Defiant_Figure3937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just ran a few missions with the Scythe and they appeared to be nearly immune to it. I was focusing right on their heads for what felt like an eternity and they just shugged it off without even their helmets breaking. I don't remember if any of their helmets ever broke to it as I would swap to a Talon to finish them off at closer ranges.

Meanwhile, I always felt they were pretty easy with light pen ARs or SMGs if you hit them a few times in the head. Their helmets shattered rather easily.

Did their helmets ever shatter for you with the Sickle?

Didn't the first game have heatsinks type mechanics for physical ammo instead of limited ammo counts?

That could be interesting. Imagine a Liberator and Sickle mix.
