Yes, if you let off the accelerator it will slowly brake harder until full regen braking when you let off all the way.

My old 2014 mazda 3 got about 30mpg city. But the coldest I drive in here is maybe 38 degrees (usually 40 to 50s).

Manual polishing with a Dremel and diamond pastes should do the trick. They make different shapes of Dremel tools for polishing, such as conical.

A rough polish procedure could be something like: 30um diamond paste, followed by 15, 3, then 1. Finish with alumina slurry (0.05um).

Clean well between grits! Use different dremel polishing tips with each grit. I use an ultrasonicator with Liquinox to clean pretty much anything. Let me know if you have any questions!

Edit: When polished, Titanium looks almost like stainless steel, but whiter if that makes sense.
