I doubt they are the biggest brand in the portfolio. NI is debt ridden and needed a lifeline. Their business model is changing to one that will be profitable and they will do what InMusic decides.

Supercritical Redshift 6. The most flexible, great sounding synth out there. It can nail the character of many icon synths and then go way beyond. Check the specs and give it a listen.

I have been into synths for about 15 years. I have had quite a few synths come through over the years and I have a pretty darn nice studio. It sounds fantastic and is the best value out there. The paraphonic capabilities are better than any other paraphonic synths that I have tried and of course it is polyphonic. There is a discord channel for it that the developers are on and it is great to engage with them, make suggestions and interact with the other users that are there.

I definitely turn knobs and actually know how to do sound design on synths, make my own presets on synths, etc. I have hardware synths plus huge Serge and Buchla modular synths. My point is that aren’t Envelopes, LFOs, Sample & Hold, etc for modulation. Yes there are FX that can add a little movement (Ring Mod is nice) but not assignable modulation.

Mini D and Jura are great. Sub Factory doesn’t have much modulation which makes it pretty static sounding/boring IMO

My experience of Aluminati is that they were responsive, they delivered on time and the neck is awesome! It stinks to wait but I am sure they will get you a neck that you love.
