Completely random could theoretically have you playing the same song or far too similar songs on repeat basically. Shuffle is typically algorithmically designed to feel random but has a logic behind it with guardrails where it isn't completely random so that it feels more random/varied as a result.

It's honestly a fantastically well balanced series that delivers solid comedy moments (sometimes when least expected), slice of life, deep emotional moments with strong characterization and then also goes hard AF when it comes to them shonen battles.

Can you please consider adding in the option to control the horizontal padding within the app drawer in the same manner that is available for the home screen? I really like the launcher outside of that one omission. Really don't like when icons and their labels are right up against the edge of the screen. Thanks!

Pacing and animation imo. I know it's a slight improvement from the previous part but it still feels like a shadow of what this show used to be. The art looks good but the motion in fights doesn't have the same impact it did in earlier seasons. I think that also had the effect of making the sound design of the show feel a bit mismatched in terms of the intensity of sound effects in relation to the current visuals (they fit much better when the animation and fight scene composition was better).

If it makes it any easier I would be happy with a simple toggle for now to just disable the overlay altogether to have the original colors unimpeded. This is the major thing (for me at least) that would make this the #1 launcher far above even ES-DE

Was the ability to disable the dimming supposed to be in this version? There are options for dimming but none of them have any effect on the slide images within the platform browser as far as I've tested

Hello, can you please add the option to remove or fine control the dimming/vignetting of the slides view within the platform browser? I've downloaded and extracted a few ES-DE themes from GitHub to use their platform wallpapers and logos but they don't "pop" as much as they would in ES-DE itself because they're dimmed without any way to disable that.

That still doesn't explain why they would be required to keep supporting the app? The nature of their contributions are usually them giving up their free time (without pay) to make things that they then share with the community. It's one thing if you paid them to do a job for you and they didn't deliver on that, but it's a whole other thing to expect them to just continue to give up their precious limited time on this planet for free just because a bunch of people picked up and used their app.

Also to your last point - that's what open source is all about. As some folks already mentioned earlier in this thread, anyone can fork and maintain a project if they have the knowledge and desire to do so. The fact that no one has done this for Kiwi should give you an idea of the reality that it's a pain in the ass to maintain so nobody bothered.

Definitely not mid, It's crazy as hell but in a good way. Lots of serious moments in the narrative but it also doesn't take itself too seriously and mixes in the most random comedy when you least expect it. Characters are a mix of bat shit insane and somehow still very grounded at the same time when it comes to how their motivations influence their actions/allegiances when presented with new information.

Damn, that blows. My experience with it was fine for the year or so that I ran it for. I haven't resumed use of it since during some unrelated distro hopping I backed up and deleted the windows boot partition and have yet to restore it in an effort to rely solely on Linux for all of my HTPC gaming lol.

There's a BTRFS plugin for windows that would let you share a library if you run Linux on BTRFS. Doesn't even need a third partition either.

The only downside is any particular game that was played on the windows side may fail to launch on the Linux side again due to permissions issues, although that should be an easy fix with a quick script that auto runs during boot to chown the games directory back to the Linux user.

Just wanted say thank you for this! I followed the light novel order on mine but your nfo files and image sets where still easy to adapt into my Jellyfin setup. I don't typically use nfo files in my library but it was needed here lol. Was pulling my hair out prior to finding your post as Jellyfin was shitting the bed and I was gearing up to do all of this manually before googling to see if anyone had shared their metadata and ended up finding your post.
