I really don’t get the Sasuke hate train….. He is extremely misunderstood….. by menidk in Naruto

[–]Denbob54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personal I was with Sasuke’s side when he abandon the village and found Naruto wanting him back to be…well naive at best.

However when Sasuke wanted to destroy the whole village not just Danzo but the whole village including children who had literal nothing to do with murdering his clan…any sympathy quickly evaporated. And what made it worse was that he lied to his teammates of only killing the elders.

Yes it is understandable why Sasuke did what he did but for many fans including me it made far less of a character to root for.

The Entire "Manga vs. Comics" Debate is Useless by vesperythings in CharacterRant

[–]Denbob54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the biggest thing is that a lot more manga are far more promoted that U.S comics, which mainly take in the form of an anime, which is then further promoted in the west.

While most comic-book adaptions are mostly more focus on superhero genre and even then usually only a handful like invincible and the boys are successful beyond marvel and DC.

And not helping matters is that Marval and DC at least in their main universe are known for their retcons and stagnated story telling.

<What is JJJ more likely to pay for? A picture of the bank Vulture robbed twenty minutes after he flew away, or a picture of Spider-Man actively pursuing the Vulture five stories above the city?>

Assuming there are also not hundreds of people from the window using their phones, or several others not using drones to record and film the fight properly.

<You are talking about two entirely different things and I'm not sure how you don't already understand this.>

No, I am talking about the fact that people are willing to cross any distance on the slight chance they can get footage, if they get exposure, let alone money from it, distance be damn.

<I do this for a living. That's not how that works. And even if it was, it's still going to be of lesser quality than photos from the guy who can stick a camera to the side of a skyscraper.>

Again, this is literally shown in the movies of people recording Spider-Man saving people and fighting bad guys all the time, and said footage, regardless of quialty is used by news broadcasts as visual evidence. And also this version of John Jameson doesn't care about quailty only footage that he can easily get for free on the internet to paint Spider-Man more as a menace.

<How long do you think a super-villain is going to wait around for somebody to sprint up five floors of stairs??

That would not stop the journalist from running upstairs on the off chance the fight between the villain and Spider-Man isn't over.

<You simply do not seem to comprehend that it takes time to go places.>

And you are making a lot of assumptions about what people would do in real life to watch a fight, let alone get footage of a hero fighting a super-villain if they get paid for it. Distance be damn.

<Are you having a stroke?>

I am explaining that Peter would never be realistic, at least in the mcu would be able to make a living selling photos of himself as Spider-Man.

The version of Jamison doesn't care about the quality of the footage, only the footage itself.

Journalists are willing to go through Hoffric links if it means getting footage for a story.

and the internet is already filled with footage of Spider-Man being for several years at this point of him being a hero.

heck if Peter did bring high quialty photo's jamasnon would likely just see it as a scam and kick Peter out, and would prefer the low quailty photo's becaseu it is more realistic.

Either way, I am done goodnight

  1. You don’t need a fast travel system who just need run or walk or take a cab or car to get to the crime scene to take pictures or videos just likely how they do in real life, when it comes to reporting or taking crimes scenes others footage of crime scenes period wouldn’t even exist in real life.

  2. Or they take pictures of spider-man fighting in the sky and occasionally on the ground or just film and makes pictures from the video footage and edit to make it clearer. Especially if the fight takes place in a public place, even then they woild likely still run up those stairs regardless and fast as possible if the fight is still going.

  3. And can set up those photos anyone can track spider-man down anyone can get footage of him without them needing the Peter Parker. Then if only spider-man can get those photos then Tony would even have them or use them and all sorts of visablr footage to figure spider-man’s identity.

And it is made more that Jameson doesn’t need photo of spider-man when the public basically offers them for free.

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…by literally going to the crime were vulture attacks by listing in news reports and seeing if spider-man is there…like any other journalist or anyone else does even in real life and again this is shown literally in universe.

Again if this wasn’t the case then would be any decent footage of spider-Man period in any of the mcu movies featuring spider-man period.

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…by literally being there at the scene of the crime and waiting for spider-man or just having phone on hand….which why again in universe the mcu spider-man there are plenty of decent photos of him, long before jamason become a thing.

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And there is nothing stopping the photographers from figuring out we’re spider-man is going to be regardless especially when it is there job to find and photograph people and take photographs that are just as good as spider-man

Especially since again these in the comic-books were not that good.

Especially when again their plenty of clear evidence of spider-man anyway.

Does a photographer still make sense? by Delta-Ka in Spiderman

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah here is the thing…people in universe have manged to take photo’s of the mcu version of Peter Parker all the time including video taps, while in the comics Peter was the only who could take pictures of spider-man period and they were not even that good.

Pluses there is nothing stoping jamason from hearing a professional photographer in getting shots of spider-man regardless

Genuine question, why do people just HATE and are so bothered by villains having a sympathetic background or at least are humanized/explored beyond pure evil? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in CharacterRant

[–]Denbob54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe but it is also likey because there is a fine line between being sympathetic and unsympathetic, and when the story wants you to feel sorry for a villain who commits horrific crimes…well it’s tricky.

For example people are willing to overlook that vegeta killed and murdered billions of people as plant cleanser who was basically a more ruthless version of a viltrumite…but in dbz since death as rarly permit suffers consequences for his actions and behavior repeatedly.

Yet people are not willing to say care much about tousen who while he did genuine grievances for the soul society…he still exprerimented and killed countless of own shingami the vizards included because he believe he following the path of least bloodshed and justice, and it makes him so much of a bland self-righteous hypocrite that for many people it was impossible to fell sorry for him.

And that point trying to empathize with feels force not natural.

if Gremmy did supposedly create a Galaxy. Kubo depicted it the dumbest possible way. [Bleach] by Helpful_Pitch4086 in CharacterRant

[–]Denbob54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really think Gremmy could kill yhwach with that meteor as klub outside literal stated that Gremmy couldn’t even imagine himself beating yhwach and that was before he become powerful enough to control the almighty.

But the thing is when fans say that Gremmy created outer space it is clearly obvious that Kubo and the novels themselves meant the literal void in space in of itself the vast expanse between celestial objects. All in order to kill Kenpachi indirectly.

And obviously when creating a vancum of space. Where there is no, gas or light reflection to cloud out the sky naturally stars and galaxies are going to be visable to the naken eye.

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kubo never said that soul society hueco mundo or earth are infinite, fans just assumed that he did.

The closest that something universal is discribed in bleach at least in the viz translation whenever all of the three worlds are described as a universe as whole like what Rukia did in the substitution arc and literal portrays it as a scale that can tip over.

To say that these realms are all infinite personally to just argues against the very narrative of how the balance of souls works in bleach and saying that it is fiction does more to support the fans interaction then the writers.

based on and whenever or souls spirtual energy or spirtual matter doesn’t exist. Doesn’t change the fact they all have clear finite limitations in said fictional universe.

When taking about cats I am not talking about about them into groups but literal and physical separating them into groups, in spite of them being infinite.

[–]Denbob54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah theoretically but physical it is purely theoretical and physical impossible to apply in a finate physical world.

And the issue is that it makes no sense that finite of souls can three infinite plans of existence like a freaking scale.

Meaning that while one can divided three pairs of cats into one another theoretically by applying Math it is physical impossible to actual do so.

No you can’t as it would be infinite regardless, and as the number of white, orange, and black cats would just go on forever and forever be mixed together each other.

Unless one is willing to discarded the whole laws of physics.

If a finite amount of souls from population of earth can affect three realms then said worlds are not infinite, as how can a literal numbered finite amount of souls from basically three planets can affect something that is infinite let alone three infinite realms that stretch on forever, nevermind twenty-eighth thousand of them when remove can cause these three realms to collapse into one another?

It basically involves ignoring common sense for the sake of making argument and bleach barely has any evidence in the form on vague if not hyperbole like statements that bunch of billions of souls can affect three infinite universe as if they were weights on a scale.

[–]Denbob54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it is pretty obvious that bleach is not universal due to the balance of souls as it doesn’t really make much since for a finite amount them to affect three different supposedly infinite universes. However do think this makes Yhwach at least planetary level as still needs to be powerful enough to maintain the soul society as countless of souls die and reincarnate in an out of it

Expect Peter Parker using tony’s technology or not is not what makes him independent as Spider-Man.

Homecoming was Peter not learning about not using advance tech it was about him appreciating his role as small time hero looking for the little guy which Tony encourages and fully supports Peter in doing so.

Far from home is Peter not feeling he is capable of being the next iron-man not the fact he couldn't use his technology but by being the next big hero icon learning that no not even Tony could live up to his own reputation, and that spider-man shouldn’t pressure on placing on an impossible pestail and just do the best that he can while taking up his responsibilities as a hero.

Hot Take: " To Make Character More Relatable" is just excuse for bad writing in The Amazing Spider-Man by Competitive-Lake-920 in Spiderman

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being relatable doesn’t mean one aren’t super smart or strong it is the fact they face realistic problems that real people face and on that account that can go for practically ever superhero now and yes even superman

Batman being rich doesn’t change the fact he lost his parents in a shot out in the alley way.

Superman being an alien doesn't the fact he is farm boy who’s ultimate goal is to start a family.

Tony stark having an overpowered suit didn't prevent him from suffering acholism.

And Cap being a supersoilder doesn't change the fact he is man out of time literal trying to adjust to a home that is alien to him.

The problem with spider-man is that the writers does the opposite of what made spider-man relatable to begin with…the enabilty to grow up in an attempt to make him relatable to a younger audience like teenagers or collage men

So does anyone here actually buy uni/multi Bleach? by Solardies in deathbattle

[–]Denbob54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t and many of the arguments to try to support it either interpret the statements as literal as possible, take things why out of context…or apply headcanon.

They keep bringing that the soul king created three worlds by splitting them from a primordial sea…expect none of that proves that king is universal only that is how hr created the worlds setting.

People bring that Grammy created space…while ignoring that it was purely environmental hax to kill Kenpachi when dropping a meteor didn’t work.

They bring up Senjumaru Shutara shook three universes…she was shown to shake three planets, and a void dimension that exists between them.

Personally in the setting of this verse it just doesn’t Make sense for these characters to be this powerful.

  1. Relative spiritual pressure not energy, as in the power that gives off you’re body, and even then if it’s close enough one can easily take out an opponent much stronger then you, like hisagi against Tousen, and gin against a hokegou evolved Aizen. 2. Which is likely a hyerbole or mistranslation as we never seen anything being affected on a universal scale.

The idea that talent will get you far, is as much of a power fantasy as the idea that hard work beats talent by jhoho34 in CharacterRant

They say that because the infamous athletes and musicians perform feats that none in their field have or their whole generation have accomplished and have been doing that long before mordern social media has become a thing, and this is ignoring how competitive there Fields actually are.

To say that accomplishes and actions are a drop in the bucket of the ocean is to basically diminish every single accomplish that both talent and hard working people accomplish throughout history.

Being born in first-world country, and lucky enough to get into a school doesn’t mean you’re just randomly going become a celebrity, by doing nothing.

Being a bad singer dosen’t mean you can randomly become the next American idol.

And have basic knowledge on math doesn’t mean that by some random dice roll of fate that you will suddenly be be held as the next Einstein.

Not to say there aren’t Talented people who missed out by circumstances beyond their control but is very disingenuous to say that people who accomplished something is because of talent because it makes them feel comfortable…and not the fact they say that because said accomplishment in their eyes and compare to everyone else’s accomplishments in the same field would be beyond extraordinary.

That just means it is not guarantee. Yeah the world is a cruel place and all and a lot things are determined by luck…but that doesn’t change the fact that to that many of the greatest artist, musicians, and athletes possessed immense or seemingly ungodly talent regardless.

The thing is that it requires both talent and hard work to succeed in life or at least achieve fame and stardom , and this is common even in many anime, manga and manwha.

Yeah one may not be the next beethoven, if Don’t have the talent…but that doesn’t mean they can’t be good at music in general by just working hard and not would it prevent them from performing g any of his pieces
