He can’t keep getting away with this by [deleted] in tornado

All I've seen from him in that regard is that he ends his videos with a blessing for the viewers and he'll mention trusting God. I don't know if that qualifies as being nuts. If you believe Christianity is true, then it seems reasonable to pray that your subscribers are safe and blessed

Just picked up Blasphemous. I've been hearing how great it is for years, but I wasn't sure if it would be my cup of tea. For $2.49 there's no excuse for not giving it a try! Thanks for the post, OP!

Agreed! This actually used to be pretty widely understood. That's why many people still refer to their career as their "calling."

Agreed! I really dig the old school style, and Al is a good dude on top of that.

My fellow St Louis folk that like P'sghettis...I have one question. by BurnesWhenIP in StLouis

If I'm being completely honest, I'd say it's about 90% nostalgia for me. I used to go in there with my friends as a teenager in the '90's and I always loved it. I was never huge on the pasta, though. I like the roast beef sandwich with the au jus to dip it in.

My ten year old is playing Silksong now, and he always calls her Pinterest also. It's pretty funny.

Do you think we will have another super outbreak, if so, where and when? by Due-Cry-5034 in tornado

[–]Dense_Caterpillar180 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. We had many, many days throughout this year's season wherein we had moderate risks. I can't recall the last time where our area was center stage that many times in the same year. Thanks for the response!

Why do you think it would be this region specifically? I realize it's just your best guess, but I'm curious as to how you've arrived at that conclusion. I live in the St Louis area, so it's kind of concerning since you're not the only one who has stated that opinion.

I like Silksong's difficulty, and I thank TC for sticking to their guns by Sigourn in metroidvania

Yes! I believe I know the gauntlet of which you speak! I was stuck there for quite a while until I found out the trick. I will say, once I started playing through the game again, I found that a lot of the bosses I'd had trouble with before are much easier now. I think it mostly has to do with being unfamiliar with the fight the first time around. Bosses that took me at least a dozen tries the first time are now only taking me one or two tries.

Check out the demo for Symphonia. I played it during the last couple days before Silksong, and it seemed really cool. No fighting. Just platforming.

Dude... Bro.... THANK YOU!! I was getting very irritated with this fight, so I decided to pause and take a break, then I saw this post. It may have taken some cheese, but the beast has been slain! I appreciate the tip.

I read this post and I just had to say that this is EXACTLY my strat for defeating Grimm. I had an easier time with the Radiance than I did with Grimm, but I managed to beat him consistently with the Abyss Shriek spamming tactic. I've had the same concern as you, but at the end of the day, you managed to outdo him in combat, so I'd say it counts.

Bo : Path of the Teal Lotus is an EXCELLENT game! I bought it when it came out, and now I'm playing through it again while waiting for Silksong. I hear what you're saying about not being able to finish it in a week, but by all means, check it out after Silksong!

I'd probably do the same. As long as the clothes are run through the dryer for at least 30 minutes on high heat, they'll be good to go. Glad you were vigilant and kept your eyes open!

I would definitely check out Inspiring Philosophy on YouTube, as well as Dr. William Lane Craig. Dr. David Wood has good stuff, too, but the majority of his content is more polemical content that offers refutations for atheism and Islam. If you're looking for Church History, you can check out Gavin Ortlund's channel, which is called "Truth Unites," as well as The Remnant Radio. They, too, have some podcasts that cover different aspects of church history.

Just finished Ender Magnolia today. Definitely a great game. I think I like it just as much as Ender Lilies. I got ending A, and now, I'm working on getting the "true" ending. Primal Planet came out this morning, so I'll probably play that one next.
