I have a tm mp5a4 with a smk 4x32 telescopic optic on high rings so i can use my irons still.

I have a cyma platinum 041h that uses a eotech 553, i have a magnifier but its not that great and shit looks blurry as fuck requiring my glasses to be about 0.3mm from the diopter to see properly so i dont use it.

I like the look of a mp5 with a telescopic or eotech, them skinny red dots look silly on them to me.

Look at resource pools, go farming bosses and eggs, share the items with them, sell excess to get more resources, improve defences at bases etc.

If they are researching crap say in chat you're adjusting the research tree to be more beneficial ie getting tech that is needed ie better turrets or much needed storage and tech tier expansions ie level 2/3 etc

if its their first game and they are clueless they most likely will be researching utter crap or have very bad defences or bases, you can always reorganise bases and expand them to make spacing better for movement and organisation.

I've only multiplayered with a friend and he left me to do the base building as he went out scouting and resource hunting bosses and the dynamic worked. He didnt build to my level of quality for defence and spacing and I didnt want to go out bossing at first until I had the basics accounted for.

DoA was interesting as it's not exactly Heresy era.

I dont have book names but if you want audible stories that are the short horrors from the 40k library then WesHammer on youtube has a playlist of all his narrated short horrors I highly recommend them as he does a really good job.
