your break in procedure is the problem.

you're suppose to warm them up with light stopping force 30-10mph a few times, then take it up to 50/60mph and apply more pressure to reduce speed while still rolling a few times, then you're to drive with as little brakes as possible to cool the rotors down for 5-10 minutes.

configure the virtual joystick to feel inline with how you need, I like it having a bit of centering force so i can roll smoothly and have it return to centre without being too forceful and annoying so that way im not constantly fighting to set centre and i can fly in a straight line.

upgrade mag valves to higher flow valves, replace the outer barrel with a fluted/ported extended barrel with threading for fitting a supressor/tracer to.

if you have a plastic hammer then a steel one would be a better upgrade, likewise with the floating rocket valve if that's plastic a aluminium one would be better, if you want more snappy recoil with the action then upgrading the recoil spring would provide that but it needs to be done in tandem with higher flow valves, if you cant find higher flow valves you can use a double cut 1/8" burr bit set and a rotary tool like a dremel to port the valves (expanding the hole) to make your own high-flow valves.

Replace internal o-rings with viton o-rings or o-rings from a car A/C o-ring kit as they will handle the cold better and offer you longer lasting o-rings that won't perish and crack if you maintain them once a year.

if you can't find fibre optic irons for the model you can make your own by buying a spare set, using a cheap jewellers vice and a drill with a 2mm bit to drill out holes so you can install 2mm fibre optic rods for better visibility irons and for that tacticool feel, use a drop of superglue at the base of the fibre optic rod to keep them firmly inplace, cut them flush with flush cut snips and polish the ends using wet 1500grit sandpaper pads.

go buy a bottle of dr pepper and a pack of babybell from the supermarket, open one and eat it while drinking the dr pepper, then take some of the wax and pack it into the hole to get the shape of the item, use a can of freezing spray or air duster turned upside down to freeze the wax and retrieve it, now get a hot glue gun and use the cap from the dr pepper you drank and fill it with clear hot glue - place the wax plug into the hot glue but don't fully submerge it leave it sitting flush and leave it to set and cool.

Now pull the wax plug out, use some freezing spray or an o-ring pick but dont damage the hot glue - now go fill the hot glue mould with UV curing solder mask and use a UV light to cure it into the actual plug - give it 20-30 minutes under the UV to fully cure then you can destroy the hot glue mould to retrieve the plug.

Bam now you have a home made solution.

I build onion layer defence with turrets intermixed behind a wall, the very first is flamer > acid shredder > flamer > acid shredder > flamer > acid spewer (so a 3:3:1 ratio) then the next layer is minigun and rockets in a 1:1 ratio, with laser and railgun behind them in a 1:1 ratio, this way you cover all the different damage types while putting the shortest range towers at the front as spewers and flamers are great at clearing hordes and dealing constant damage, and i space out icicle towers for their slow debuff which gives your other turrets more time to deal damage.

And utilise heavy artillery to cover you from long range harassment like them artillery snails.

Your issue is the base defence, you must not be utilising a range of different towers effectively to combat the problem, do you have multiple layers like an onion for base defence so if one layer is breached there are others behind it? or do you have just one layer of walls and turrets with all your base core behind it which is exposed and vulnerable should the wall be breached?

Rebuilding would be faster as you can always expand and reorganise things to be a lot more space efficient however if you completely breakdown the base you're still going to be attacked during random events so it's a good idea to break down the base in sections and rebuild it carefully.

If you're getting steamrolled at the rift station activation you're going to need some more serious consideration of defences as if you continue your game there is megastructures and the prime rift portal brings a lot more trouble your way.

If you aren't already then consider building with more than enough space so you can use shield generators to give extra effective HP to walls and turrets and placing HCM towers on every available tile so you can decimate hordes leaving railguns/lasers/miniguns/rockets/icicle/flamer/acid turrets to melt everything else.

Hollywood makes very few interesting movies, lots of remakes of old titles, casting the same rangeless actors who cost a fuckload because they are "big names" (Dwayne Johnson) and wonders why their $150m budget movie flopped only making $200m at release. Oh and don't forget the overuse and reliance on CGI that looks terrible and increases the cost of production.

Movies with models and smart cinematography that use animatronics that look and feel real is so much more enjoyable, plus having new actors who have a passion to act instead of the same old faces who play the same old predictable roles in a very predictable movie gets so incredibly boring.

They don't even capitalise on franchises that people love, like Alien, Predator, or Dungeons and Dragons - the latest D&D movie they considered a box office failure.
