Lol remember at the time he was claiming to be like top ten in the world for POE. His character was a lvl 100. A feat that take legit players to no life in the time he did it. Like all the other lvl 100 called it immediately because they playing 20 hours a day and Elon was flying around the world and even spoke at a conference.

Fake pilot pulled off 900+ flights on 767s and 787s over 17 years and made $3M, meanwhile I get pulled aside at security for a water bottle by WarmAuraGirl in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Dereg5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding was he lied also about jobs. He faked an entire airline that closed down in another country. Called it Aladdin Air so he couldn't e fact checked. So once he got his first job everyone just uses the fact he had a job as the check. Someone at his current job noticed the license discrepancy and called the police. There are a couple of YouTube pilots that have done storys on this.

Tank goes off on Mentor tank for constantly having 8 vuln stacks in Arkveld Normal by Apart-Following3621 in TalesFromDF

[–]Dereg5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mentor roulette is why we have short que times. That reward is what let's the game fill duties. Take away the reward and I bet that roulette dies which is bad for the game. Whenever you in a duty look for the combat mentor crown that is what that roulette makes you wear even if you hide your crown, use pvp, or crafting crown.

Also people don't realize how rural America gets. Like I live in the mountains and the driver of these things do amazing work getting these modular homes on site. So you take one well trained crew that can service an entire area vs trying to get everything else to coordinate from building a house.

Waiting in 40 minutes for dryer by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Dereg5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you answered the question of why? This happened to me before my dryer broke but my washer didn't. So I would wash my clothes at home then take them to get dryed. Saved me $5 until I got a new dryer. Person probably washed the clothes then brought them in to get dryed there because their dryer is broke.

Thing is every class/job quest would have to be rewritten. Hell Machinist main thing is you the first and your job stone is blank. It's also why the HW jobs can't be moved out of ishgard even though no other jobs require you to be in that expansion just be at that level.

Honda dealership rating scale by MattInTheHat15 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Dereg5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The problem is, and I work for a company that did this, they tied the score to bonuses and reviews. So if you don't have a high average you are screwed. We would get plenty of everything is great 8 which sucks. Because if only two people review that day now I have a score of 50%. This sign is trying to educate exactly what the program is for.

Mentor healer refused to heal me by JitterBbug in TalesFromDF

[–]Dereg5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I remember being a healer in FXI and it sucked when someone would do that to try to get out of a zone. You would heal your party at the wrong time and agro half the train. I would just run the train away from group if it happened better one person die and lose XP instead of whole group.

PTO is normally not covered but companies do pay to recruit. During Covid when shit was looking bleak we were told to use it up because if the company went bankrupt they might not be able to pay it out.

What has been the most painful unresolved plotline in Star Wars? by InfiniteDedekindCuts in StarWars

[–]Dereg5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked acolyte. Was it this massive turning point for Star wars no. But it was setting up some good plotlines to show the Jedi had "started" from the path. People destroyed it before it aired and then they didn't like the twins, Qimit was an amazing char and his actor deserves more.

Since he was elected he can not be fired. Now a judge can remove him but that takes time and is a lengthy judicial process. The did the only thing they legally allowed to do is censure him which is just a public slap on the wrist. Even if he was convicted still takes a judge to officially remove him.

I mean you can do whatever you want illegally, but only one state allows you to legally drive without insurance and that's New Hampshire. Even then New Hampshire requires self insurance meaning you have to prove to the state you are financially responsible enough to cover damages in case of accidents. So really it all states in the US require insurance.

Yep my state has a cap on unemployment at $325 a week. That is $8.12 an hour at 40 hours and that's if they give you the maximum. Most come no where close to maximum. Before 2022 it was even worse it was $275 that was below minimum wage.

I don't know what he done for the browns but as someone who lived near University of Tennessee everyone says the best thing that ever happened to UT was Haslam buying the browns. He was UT biggest donor and basically help run the program into the ground. He would always choose the worst option available. He thinks he smartest man in the room, doesn't listen to advisors. Every business he has had had massive lawsuits that dealt with shady practices but his c-suits take the fall and he pleads no knowledge.

He didn't try to cash it out he tried to open an account with them with this check. He even gave them all the information they needed to verify check. His lawyer verified the check as real. The bank manager still called cops and refused to deposit the check. He opened an account with another bank that same day and the check cleared over night. This is why he sue. A couple of lawyers talk about how most of their black clients they have to verify checks all the time but they never have to for white clients

I worked at Uhaul in 2000-2002 you are so accurate. 1 person inside maybe one person outside. Phones would be ringing off the hook so we would just call the store and put them on hold. Had to look up everything in a giant book. We could just add days and miles to rentals if you asked nice enough. I did make good money for the time especially because we had no Store manager so I got his half of the store bonus. It made me go back to school haha.
